Veli Iž: Velika Gospa - Glagoljaška misa i procesija 2010 - 2 (procesija)
U Velom Ižu na otoku Ižu (Zadarski arhipelag) sačuvalo se GLAGOLJAŠKO PEVANJE - misa se više puta kroz godinu pjeva na staroslavenskom jeziku (glagoljaški) kako je to bila povlastica i običaj na hrvatskoj obali stoljećima, još od Grgura Ninskog. Napjevi su domaći, iški, prožeti folklornim glazbenim izričajem. Na Veliku Gospu održava se i procesja s Gospinim kipom uz obalu, kojega nose mladići i djevojke u iškim tradicijskim nošnjama te se pjevaju Gopine litanije. Kip je star oko 200 godina a potječe iz poznate austrijske radionice u Val di Gardeni (Tirol). Za ovu prigodu se okiti stoljetnim zavjetnim darovima. Ovogodišnju procesiju snimao je međunarodni tv magazin Alpe Dunav Jadran.
