Must Visit Places in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), VIETNAM | Cu Chi Tunnel
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam will make you come back to Vietnam, that’s for sure. In this video, we are going to explore Cu Chi tunnel, the longest tunnel in the world! During the Vietnam War, millions of people died fighting for Independence of Vietnam. Let’s just remember and be thankful to all our ancestors that fought in wars.
One of the places that I recommend is dining at the highest building in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh). Go to EON51 (the entrance in the mall), no entrance fee. It’s better than Skydeck. It's really romantic place in Ho Chi Minh city.
FOOD FOOD FOOD. Mingle more with local people, they are very kind always willing to help you.
Thank you for watching this video about Must Visit Places in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), Vietnam. I hope it has given you some great ideas to help you plan your visit.

Back Alleys of Saigon
■ Saigon is a very old city. The old parts of town exist side by side with modernity. Personally I'm much more fasciated by the old quarters of town than the new. The only problem is that when you venture away from tourist Saigon you rarely run into people who speak English. Since I was hanging out with Tom however this was a rare opportunity to venture into the lesser known alleys and maybe strike up a conversation or two with people who live there.
■ The guide's name is Tom and he is available as your private tour guide of Saigon. He studies economics at University and is highly knowledgeable when it comes to history of not just Saigon but Vietnam. He also of course really knows a lot about food so he comes highly recommended. Philippines!!! Ho Chi Minh airport to Manila ||Travel Vlog||
What a day!
We travel from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam through to the Philippines’ capital city, Manila. Getting to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport proves to be a tad more involved than we were expecting however…
But at the end of the day we finally make it into the welcoming arms of the family we didn’t really know we had, and begin our crazy, paradisiacal and wonderful 2 month journey across The Philippines. Definitely “Worth A Hoot”!

Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnamese: Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh; About this sound listen, formerly named Saigon (Vietnamese: Sài Gòn; About this sound listen, French: Saïgon), is the largest city in Vietnam. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent republic of South Vietnam from 1955--75. South Vietnam was a capitalist and anti-communist state which fought against the communist North Vietnamese and Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, with the assistance of the United States and other countries. On 30 April 1975, Saigon fell and the war ended with a Communist victory. On 2 July 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City after Hồ Chí Minh (although the name Sài Gòn is still commonly used).[3]
The metropolitan area, which consists of the Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area, Thủ Dầu Một, Dĩ An, Biên Hòa and surrounding towns, is populated by more than 9,000,000 people,[nb 1] making it the most populous metropolitan area[4] in Vietnam. The city's population is expected to grow to 13.9 million in 2025.[5]
The Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area, a metropolitan area covering most parts of the Southeast region plus Tiền Giang Province and Long An Province under planning, will have an area of 30,000 square kilometres (11,583 sq mi) with a population of 20 million inhabitants by 2020.[6] According to the Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Economist Intelligence Unit and ECA International, Ho Chi Minh City is ranked 132 on the list of world's most expensive cities for expatriate employees.
