Bus Ride on the Spectacular Amalfi Coast of Italy
A thrilling bus ride on the Amalfi Coast - buckle up and enjoy:) The Amalfi Drive was originally built for mule transport in the 19th century and is thus very narrow. Today the road is heavily used: two-wheelers, cars, buses and even trailer truck share and negotiate this challenging road. The vistas are spectacular!
A surprise awaits at the 6:00 mark.
Italy: Amalfi Coast Drive from Sorrento to Positano
The Amalfi Drive (formally Strada Statale 163) is the conventional name of a stretch of road which runs along the stretch of the Amalfi Coast between the southern Italian towns of Sorrento and Amalfi. The road was originally built by the Romans. The drive between Salerno, at the southern base of the peninsula, and Positano follows the coast for about 80 km (50 mi).
For the greater part of its route, the road is carved out of the side of the coastal cliffs, giving spectacular views down to the Tyrrhenian Sea and on the other side up to the towering cliffs above. The road passes through the village of Positano, which is built on the side of the hill. Both the village and the whole drive are leading tourist attractions in the area.
The Amalfi coast is an UNESCO-listed landscape lined with small towns precariously perched between mountains & the sea.

Sorrento Italy Walking Tour | Amalfi coast |
I am Lora. Have a nice journey

Welcome to Sorrento!
A very beautiful little town in Southern Italy. In Sorrento as well as along all of the Amalfi coast everything is dedicated to its majesty, the lemon. There are all kinds of lemon products - candy, spices, pasta, soaps, souvenirs, decoration. Here lemons are huge, sweet and very aromatic. If you like Italian liqueurs, you must try limoncello - liqueur made with lemon peel from local lemons.
From Sorrento there is a great view of the island of Capri. If you like tasty food, narrow winding streets, cozy Italian restaurants and breathtaking natural beauty, then you’ll like Sorrento too.
„Marina Grande” is an obligatory stop in Sorrento. „The old port“ or „The fishermen’s port“ as it’s also called. You get there by a winding road which starts from the central part of the old town. A pleasant 15-minute walk. Here are the best fish restaurants in town.
If you want to explore all of the Amalfi coast, Sorrento is the right place to start from. Whether you rent a car or use public transport, everything is easily accessible. This is a journey you remember long after that. From here leaves the ferry for one of the most loved Italian islands – the island of Capri. You can board it at „Marina Piccola“.
I really liked Sorrento where everything is lemons!
Stay tuned for the next episodes from the journey in Southern Italy … soon!
I am Lora. Have a nice journey!

SUPER DANGEROUS ROADS FROM POMPEII TO THE AMALFI COAST!! | MT. VESUVIUS, SORRENTO | VLOG 92
92. Today we partook in a full day tour which included exploring the ruins of Pompeii, the city which was destroyed by Mt. Vesuvius! We learned so many things there..especially about the lupinare! From there, we took a very dangerous and winding path through Sorrento, where we quickly had a Sorrento limoncello factory tour, before descending to the beautiful Amalfi Coast during this Italian summer! The ride back was interesting as we had to take an alternative route...there was literally only space for one car on the road! Did we make it back to Naples??? Watch and find out in the Amalfi Coast VLOG!

A Family Guide to the Amalfi Coast - Tips & Advice - Traveling with Kids can be fun!
We are wrapping up our month-long Europen vacation and finish on the Amalfi Coast. After disembarking from the Jewell of the Seas we took a private transfer to Pompeii for a private tour with Lala Nastrucci. We can express how much all of us enjoyed this tour and Lala was amazing with the kids. She definitely is highly recommended if you are visiting this region and need a guide. Here is her information
After a wonderful day in Pompeii we continued to Sorrento which became our home base for the next few days. Sorrento is one of our favorite places in the world and we love it there. Great food, shopping, and easy to get to other locations along the Amalfi Coast.
From Sorrento we day tripped to Positano & Capri on separate days. Both locations are great, but if you only have one-day available we highly recommend Positano!
It was a sad day when we left Sorrento and we are already planning a return.
We hope that you enjoy our channel and learn a little something from our adventures. We will soon be producing detailed videos on each location with more detailed information. Make sure you subscribe and ring the bell to see all of our upcoming videos!
