Dublin, Ireland
Dublin meaning town of the hurdled ford, is the capital city of Ireland. The English name for the city is derived from the Irish name Dubhlinn, meaning black pool. Dublin is situated near the midpoint of Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey and the centre of the Dublin Region.
Originally founded as a Viking settlement in the 9th century, it evolved into the Kingdom of Dublin and became the island's principal city following the Norman invasion. Following the partition of Ireland in 1922, the new parliament, the Oireachtas, was located in Leinster House. Dublin became the capital of the Irish Free State and later the Republic of Ireland.

Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland
Trinity College (Irish: Coláiste na Tríonóide), formally known as the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin,[5] is the sole constituent college of the University of Dublin in Ireland. Founded in 1592 by letters patent from Queen Elizabeth I as the mother of a university,[Note 1] it was modelled after the collegiate universities of Oxford and of Cambridge, but unlike these only one college was established; as such, the designations Trinity College and University of Dublin are usually synonymous for practical purposes. It is one of the seven ancient universities of Britain and Ireland, as well as Ireland's oldest university.

Second day in Dublin: complete!! I walked around the city all day.
OK so the vitamin D spray isn't vegan! ???? I assumed it was vegan since the Vegetarian Society's logo clearly marked the package. Today I found out this product isn't vegan at all, since the vitamin D is sourced from sheep's wool. I'm sorry if I misled you! I mistakenly trusted the Veg. Society logo and have since emailed them demanding an explanation as to WHY their logo is used to promote an absolutely NOT cruelty-free product. ????

Travelog to: Trinity College Dublin Commencement
My final year as an undergraduate of Trinity College Dublin was one of the most exciting and gruelling one out of my entire academic life. To ace the honours year was a huge achievement for my Singaporean classmates and I.
There were,
So many hurdles,
So many fears,
So many tears,
yet, we all made it.
We couldn't miss this moment to travel back to Dublin and graduate at our home campus in Trinity!
A brief tour of Trinity College, Dublin
In order of appearance:
TCD front gate, the main access to the college
The campanile, The Chapel, the Public Theatre (all the graduations take place here), Regent house. The big square you see is called the Parliament Square.
Aras an Phiarsaigh (translated from gaelic, it stands for Pearse's Building, many business classes are held here and it includes many department offices)
Samuel Beckett Centre (Drama, Theatre and Film studies offices, headquarter of the DU players society)
Rugby pitch
Luce Hall (It includes administration offices and exams take place there, I enrolled at TCD and had my last exam here, the beginning and the end of my experience at TCD)
Sport Centre (free access to ALL the facilities for erasmus students, yay! On the other hand, many other exams are held here, dammit! LOL!)
The Pav (The Trinity College bar)
College park
Arnaldo Pomodoro's Sphere within sphere sculpture
Old library (Free access for TCD students and the opportunity to let 3 people in for free, within the Old Library there's also a section fully dedicated to the Book of Kells, and there's the Book of Kells istelf, of course!)
Art Buildings (here I had most of my classes, 5 floors building, computer rooms and so on)
Library (It's located within the Art Building, there're the Lecky Library, the Berkeley and the Ussher library)
It's not a complete tour (Hamilton building missing for instance), sorry for my grammar mistakes and my trembling hands, hope you enjoyed it anyway.

Travel Dublin, Ireland - The Dublin Castle
Take a tour of Dublin Castle in Ireland -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
Dublin is a schizophrenic city, where you can find historic buildings right next to modern ones.
No building personifies this better than Dublin Castle, which can't make up its mind.
It has parts from the medieval ages, the 18th century, and the 20th century.
The castle has long been an important place for the government in Dublin and is designed accordingly.
The interior is famous for its decoration, including its Waterford crystal chandeliers.
An impressive landmark, the Dublin Castle is a jewel of the great city of Dublin.
