Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

BEST EVER AIRLINE LOUNGE IN THE WORLD? You bet. Turkish Airlines should be commended well and truly for making the best business class lounge for all frequent travellers and business class passengers. It's HUGE as well, consisting of a top and bottom floor.
In this video, I will be taking you on a journey to one of the best and exclusive places to transit in a flight. You will be able to see heaps of food and amenities, second only to Changi Airport (although that's free to the public). This one is paid but you will get your moneys worth.

Welcome to a small glimpse into the recently opened Star Alliance Gold lounge from Turkish Airlines in Istanbul's new airport, IST. While the airport absolutely has some improvements to be expected over the coming months, the lounge is nearly perfect in my opinion.

Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge Istanbul
The Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge is possibly one of the best lounges in the Star Alliance network. It is a massive, two-story lounge with a long list of services and amenities. Some have told us that the Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge is the best business class lounge in the world. As we've been to Singapore Airlines The Private Room (see our Singapore Airline review) we know that isn't true but, It’s definitely a great space. However, it does get crowded at peak times.
The Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport (IST) is not easy to find! The lounge is accessible by first/business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members traveling on any Star Alliance partner flight, Miles and Smiles Elite members and those with United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf Club membership departing on a Star Alliance partner flight. Star Alliance Gold members and Miles and Smile elite members may invite one guest. The lounge is open 24 hours a day.
