Triple Divide Peak Waterfall at Glacier National Park (Artic Drainage)
Here is a view from the top of the waterfall leading down to Grizzly Medicine Lake from the glacier basin at Triple Divide Peak in Glacier National Park Montana, USA. I don't know how many vertical feet the drop is, but it is substantial. I don't normally get scared of heights, but looking over this one got me a little queasy! It is a breathtaking experience

WEEKEND IN MONTANA - GLACIER NATIONAL PARK GoPro6 4K [SARA&NIL] [11]
Insane! Three weekends in a row! A long weekend was coming so we took the decision of heading to the United States! Montana was the state, with lots to offer! We started the trip on Friday night, driving south. After crossing the Glacier National Park we went for some beers in Walmart and camped just behind it.
Fascinated by the wildlife and nature we started for the Bison National Range, where apart from bisons we were able to spot a bear and two awesome elks! After that we stopped at Yellow Bay (in Flathead Lake). My gps made us drive through the wrong way to the Hungry Horse Dam but we managed to get to the top at the end. On the way back we couldn’t avoid stopping at Lion Lake. Lake Mc Donald and Logan Pass Visitor Center (Hidden Lake) where the last. We camped just outside the Park.
Sara’s Bday was already there so I built kind of a tent to celebrate it and give her the presents. On the way to the Park again, we saw the Wild Goose Island. We did a great hike: the Sun Point Nature Trail following the edge of St Mary Lake, with must do spots like Sun Point, Sunrift Gorge, Barning Falls, St Mary Falls and Virginia Falls. We also did another hike: Swiftcurrent Trail, way to Redrock Lake and Falls. Apikuni Falls trail was closed due to bear danger. Last stop was Running Eagle Falls, also called Trick Falls. We spent the night at Cut Bank.
This was the last day so we had to hurry up to go back home as a long drive was waiting for us. In Great Falls we found out another dam, this one breathtaking with a highly wide waterfall in Ryan Island, which made the drive worth.
Hope you guys enjoy the video!

12 Easy Things to do with Family and Kids in Glacier National Park Montana
Glacier National Park: Easy Things to do with Family and Kids
More details in blog post here:
Glacier National Park in Montana is one the most popular things to see in Montana and things to do in Montana and it's especially fun for families who travel with kids.
While most people worry about the weather or where to find accommodations (see the blog post for more info there) this video focuses on what to do on your glacier national park vacation.
First off, glacier park is located in Montana, not Canada as some people think. You can find a map of the park at the gate or the NPS website. The best time to go to glacier national park is...in the morning. Not what you suspected but most people don't get going until after 10 and you will see more wildlife in the early morning and avoid the heat and crowds. The weather in glacier will vary based on season and elevation (see the blog). Glacier park activities range from the jr. ranger program to guided tours and shuttle busses and hikes.
Visiting Glacier national park can be a bucket list summer vacation so make sure you are prepared before you go, and have a great time!

Avalanche Lake @ Glacier National Park, Montana June 2012
4 mile round trip hike from the Trail of the Cedars with a 500 foot elevation gain leads you to Avalanche Lake, a secluded lake only accessible by foot. The lake is surrounded by towering peaks. In spring and early summer, the melting snow creates numerous waterfalls that feed this lake. This is one of the more popular hike destinations in Glacier National Park, as it is accessed via the Going-to-the-Sun Road. A moose was spotted at the lake on this day, but the video was taken long after it had left. I recommend this hike to anyone that visits Glacier.
