Forgotten Leaders. Episode 2. Kliment Voroshilov. Documentary. English Subtitles. StarMediaEN
All Episodes of Forgotten Leaders
The project provisionally titled “Forgotten Leaders” is a series of seven films, each featuring an individual from the leaders of the Soviet state in power during the time period from 1920 to 1953. Each episode is a filmed portrait depicting the story of life, political and public activities of its hero. The heroes of “The Forgotten Leaders” are
individuals ambiguous from the perspective of the Russian and world’s history and odious and often sharply negative in the eyes of public consciousness. Unfortunately, when labeling, we often forget that “each individual
is a tangle of contradictions” and that “history is written by the victors”. Seven men. Seven lives. One era. What was behind their decisions and at what was the price they paid for their deeds?

Video appeal from Russian children to Mr. Trump, the President of the United States of America,
Dear Mr. Trump.
Russian children, students of the fine Studio Young peacemaker and I, Vitaly Ilyushkin, the teacher, don Cossack and Orthodox artist address you.
Mr. Trump, I hate war with all my heart. 20 years ago, I had to face the rocket-and-bomb attacks of your predecessor in the presidency of Bill Clinton. It was in Belgrade, where I came to take a group of children who had survived the armed aggression of the USA and NATO to Volgograd for a rehabilitation vacation. I hate terror because DAISH militants in Syria executed my student, a Russian boy from Chechnya, who wanted to be a painter. Most of all I want the children of Russia and the children of the world live in peace and safety, without wars and violence.
We ask you, Dear Mr. Trump, help us to revive the children's youth movement for peace. This must be done in order to stop the war and terrorism. And in order that the children of Russia and the United States could get to know each other, we ask you to send a few American students to visit us. Let our children speak the language of friendship and peace today , than tomorrow it will be through weapons and wars.
Dear Mr. Trump. I'm Sophia. Our art Studio and all children of our village ask you, your wife and daughter to help us to make friends with our peers from the United States. We invite American girls and boys to visit us in order to show them our region, to acquaint them with our culture and traditions, to teach them to sing our Cossack songs.
Mr. Trump. I'm Maria. We want to draw our common dream of peace and happiness together with children from your country. And if you invite us to visit, we will tell about our beloved Russia and offer our friendship.
Together we will think how to save our wonderful blue planet for future generation.
We want to live in peace!

Kiev ( KEE-ef, -ev) or Kyiv (Ukrainian: Київ, translit. Kyiv [ˈkɪjiu̯] (listen); Russian: Киев, translit. Kiyev [ˈkʲi(j)ɪf]; Old East Slavic: Кыѥвъ, translit. Kyjev) is the capital and largest city of Ukraine, located in the north central part of the country on the Dnieper. The population in July 2015 was 2,887,974 (though higher estimated numbers have been cited in the press), making Kiev the 7th most populous city in Europe.Kiev is an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions, and world-famous historical landmarks. The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kiev Metro.
The city's name is said to derive from the name of Kyi, one of its four legendary founders (see Name, below). During its history, Kiev, one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe, passed through several stages of great prominence and relative obscurity. The city probably existed as a commercial centre as early as the 5th century. A Slavic settlement on the great trade route between Scandinavia and Constantinople, Kiev was a tributary of the Khazars, until seized by the Varangians (Vikings) in the mid-9th century. Under Varangian rule, the city became a capital of the Kievan Rus', the first East Slavic state. Completely destroyed during the Mongol invasion in 1240, the city lost most of its influence for the centuries to come. It was a provincial capital of marginal importance in the outskirts of the territories controlled by its powerful neighbours; first the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, followed by Poland and Russia. The city prospered again during the Russian Empire's Industrial Revolution in the late 19th century. In 1917, after the Ukrainian National Republic declared independence from the Russian Empire, Kiev became its capital. From 1921 onwards Kiev was a city of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which was proclaimed by the Red Army, and, from 1934, Kiev was its capital. During World War II, the city again suffered significant damage, but quickly recovered in the post-war years, remaining the third largest city of the Soviet Union.
Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and Ukrainian independence in 1991, Kiev remained the capital of Ukraine and experienced a steady migration influx of ethnic Ukrainians from other regions of the country. During the country's transformation to a market economy and electoral democracy, Kiev has continued to be Ukraine's largest and richest city. Kiev's armament-dependent industrial output fell after the Soviet collapse, adversely affecting science and technology. But new sectors of the economy such as services and finance facilitated Kiev's growth in salaries and investment, as well as providing continuous funding for the development of housing and urban infrastructure. Kiev emerged as the most pro-Western region of Ukraine where parties advocating tighter integration with the European Union dominate during elections.

Belgrade ( BEL-grayd; Serbian: Beograd / Београд, meaning white city, Serbian pronunciation: [beǒɡrad] ( listen); names in other languages) is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans. The urban area of the City of Belgrade has a population of 1.23 million, while nearly 1.7 million people live within its administrative limits. One of the most important prehistoric cultures of Europe, the Vinča culture, evolved within the Belgrade area in the 6th millennium BC. In antiquity, Thraco-Dacians inhabited the region and after 279 BC Celts conquered the city, naming it Singidūn. It was conquered by the Romans during the reign of Augustus, and awarded city rights in the mid-2nd century. It was settled by the Slavs in the 520s, and changed hands several times between the Byzantine Empire, Frankish Empire, Bulgarian Empire and Kingdom of Hungary before it became the capital of Serbian king Stephen Dragutin (1282–1316). In 1521, Belgrade was conquered by the Ottoman Empire and became the seat of the Sanjak of Smederevo. It frequently passed from Ottoman to Habsburg rule, which saw the destruction of most of the city during the Austro-Ottoman wars. Belgrade was again named the capital of Serbia in 1841. Northern Belgrade remained the southernmost Habsburg post until 1918, when the city was reunited. As a strategic location, the city was battled over in 115 wars and razed 44 times. Belgrade was the capital of Yugoslavia from its creation in 1918 to its dissolution in 2006.
Belgrade has a special administrative status within Serbia and it is one of five statistical regions of Serbia. Its metropolitan territory is divided into 17 municipalities, each with its own local council. The city of Belgrade covers 3.6% of Serbia's territory, and around 24% of the country's population lives within its administrative limits. It is classified as a Beta-Global City.

During the country's transformation to a market economy and electoral democracy, Kiev has continued to be Ukraine's largest an ...

SUMMARY
=======
Belgrade ( BEL-grayd; Serbian: Beograd / Београд, meaning 'white city', Serbian pronunciation: [beǒɡrad] (listen); names in other languages) is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers and the crossroads of the Pannonian Plain and the Balkan Peninsula. The urban area of the City of Belgrade has a population of 1.23 million, while nearly 1.7 million people live within its administrative limits. One of the most important prehistoric cultures of Europe, the Vinča culture, evolved within the Belgrade area in the 6th millennium BC. In antiquity, Thraco–Dacians inhabited the region and, after 279 BC, Celts settled the city, naming it Singidūn. It was conquered by the Romans under the reign of Augustus and awarded Roman city rights in the mid-2nd century. It was settled by the Slavs in the 520s, and changed hands several times between the Byzantine Empire, the Frankish Empire, the Bulgarian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary before it became the seat of the Serbian king Stefan Dragutin (ruled 1282–1316). In a fatally strategic position, the city was battled over in 115 wars and razed 44 times. Belgrade was the capital of Yugoslavia from its creation in 1918 to its dissolution in 2006.
Belgrade has special administrative status within Serbia and is one of the five statistical regions that make up the country. Its metropolitan territory is divided into 17 municipalities, each with its own local council. The city of Belgrade covers 3.6% of Serbia's territory, and around 24% of the country's population lives within its administrative limits. It is classified as a Beta-Global City.

I gave you a lot to read this time, hey? Oh, well, better exess that lack, right?
OK, this is show called ''Norkin's List'', in which Vladimir Zhirinovsky participated. Thankfully, there were only 2 guests there this time, cuz usually they call 4-6, and it's just madness. Even like this there are so many part where it's just impossible to make out what the hell are they screaming about. When there are many lines on the screen, the ones that are Zhirinovsky, I noted with exclamation marks, as usual, when it's mpossible to clearl distinguish which lines are who's. When there are 2 or more lines with exclamation marks, Zhirinovsky's ones are without triple dots.
So, the subject of this episode is ''Minsk agreements'' and ''Debaltsevo boiler'' (explanation in remarks). On that day, Zhirinovsky participated in another similar political talk show, which I will be uploading for my next video, because it's important to see both of them. Basically, from these 2 videos, you can get a clear picture, and see who are the key figures are.
My remarks are gonna be placed in the comment section below, because it says that description is too long. They don't have character limit for comments, but you can't make too big description. That makes a lot of sence... Not... Be so kind and thumb it up, so it would be on top. Thanks in advance. Anyway, I hope you'll like it, I hope it answered to some of your enquiries. Leave your opinions in comments, and as always, keep your hand on space button.
