THE BLUE HAWAIIAN DIFFERENCE There's simply no argument: Blue Hawaiian is Hawaii's #1 helicopter tour company. Blue Hawaiian's aircraft maintenance technicians have received the FAA's coveted Certificate of Excellence, Diamond Award every year since 1998. No other helicopter tour company in Hawaii has ever received this critical recognition. Blue Hawaiian was honored by the FAA for its record 12th straight year in January, 2009, at a ceremony in Honolulu, and the FAA further honored Blue Hawaiian with the very first Certificate of Excellence, Platinum Award. And Blue Hawaiian is the only helicopter tour company in Hawaii certified by the Department of Defense.
Welcome to the Blue Skies of Hawaii. Blue is the only helicopter tour company serving all four major Hawaiian islands: Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. That means wherever you go in the Islands of Aloha, you know exactly how to get the world's finest aerial tours: just remember the color of the sky.
We don't just operate the best equipment, we help develop it. From the ultra-quiet, spacious, and powerful 21st-century Eco-Star helicopter to the breakthrough Garmin G500H technology, which gives our pilots astonishing three-dimensional synthetic vision terrain awareness in less than optimal weather; from our pioneering of multi-camera in-flight video, to designing vastly improved cockpit air-conditioning—Blue Hawaiian is always at the forefront of leading-edge innovations for your safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Because when it comes to our guests, good enough is never enough.
The finest pilots in the sky. Blue Hawaiian prides itself on hand-picking only the finest and most experienced pilots—the absolute cream of the profession—and every one of them is a State of Hawaii Certified Tour Guide. Blue Hawaiian is also the only helicopter tour company in Hawaii with its own state-of-the-art Flight Simulator, and the only one that puts its pilots through annual factory and FAA recurrent training.

Pluses:
2nd vacation at the four seasons and we certainly will be back! This is one of the best resorts we've been to and the staff is exceptional! You are treated like royalty and everyone is genuinely kind. We lbrought our 16 months old daughter along and the attention to detail was amazing. From the crib to the toy to the bath accessories, to the diapers etc... nothing was forgotten We absolutely love it, thank you so much, we cannot wait to be back already!
I loved the GF items and food in general,
I loved tj from the lost and found department. He helped me tremendously
when I left my ipad at the Four Seasons. After check out and after we
had already headed to Kaanapali, tj spent his personal time after work
to bring it to me at my next hotel stay in Kaanapali. I couldn't
believe the excellent service from the Four Seasons - specifically from
tj who went above and beyond for a guest who was no longer staying at
the resort. I have recommended the Four Seasons to everyone and I plan
to come back :)
Minuses:
Price could always be better, but loved the service we received!
Nothing - our stay was perfect and my husband actually got very sad when
checking out

2012 Girls' Junior America's Cup - Wailea Golf Club, Maui
The following information is provided by the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association:
Kihei, Hawaii, July 16, 2012 -- Team Hawaii is gearing up for a very special week on Maui at the beautiful and challenging Wailea Golf Club- Gold Course. The Hawaii Team is led by Captain Cathy Torchiana, LPGA, from Kihei, who retired from college coaching after twelve years at USC and being inducted into the National Golf Coaches Hall of Fame. Cathy will be leading a very talented and very young Hawaii Team, Eimi Koga (Honolulu), Mariel Galdiano (Honolulu), Rose Huang (Honolulu), Ciera Min (Hilo).
Hawaii hosts this prestigious tournament only once every 18 years for the girls and once every 17 years for the boys. The tournament is filled with long standing traditions and ceremony. These traditions embrace the GJAC Philosophy:
Bring together girls from various states and countries
Cultivate new friendships and mutual respect
Promote a better understanding of our regional history and customs
Allow girls to learn about different cultures
Develop pride in self, team, state and country
Hawaii and the HSJGA are anxious to show our mainland and international visitors the real meaning of aloha as the week begins Sunday, July 22 with a Meet & Greet at Hotel Wailea. The evening will be filled with good local food, a lei making demonstration, Snag Golf contests and the traditional gift exchange as the teams meet each other and their host families for the week. As the sun sets over the Pacific, the invited guests will enjoy a beautiful and powerful fire dance!
This event would not be possible without the amazing donations from companies and individuals alike from all around the state and especially the amazing generosity of all the Wailea Host families, who are opening their homes to these young ladies for the week. I know for sure we could not have pulled this off without the Aloha Section PGA and the Wailea Golf Club who are always there for junior golf! says Mary Bea Porter-King, HSJGA President. Other major sponsors include Pard & Betsy Erdman, Gannon's A Pacific View Restaurant, HawaiiOnTV, Hotel Wailea, King Auto Group, Liliha Bakery, Marriott Wailea, MC&A and Tihati.
The public is welcome to enjoy some great golf at the Wailea Golf Club Monday through Thursday. On Monday, July 23, the practice round is followed by what will prove to be a memorable Opening Ceremony at 2:45 near the putting green, come early for a good seat! Kimokeo Kapahulehua will give a traditional Hawaiian blessing followed by the Royal Hawaiian Guard raising of the three country flags (Mexico, Canada & USA). The raising of the GJAC flag indicates the start of the tournament. The public is welcomed to attend the Opening Ceremony and watch the next generation of great young golfers at Wailea GC, free of charge!
Tournament rounds are Tuesday, July 24 through Thursday, July 26. The tournament is opened to spectators, support the Hawaii team or your favorite team from your home state or country!

Lanai City, Hawaii, is the only town on Lanai, a former pineapple plantation that has been transformed into a resort island with a small-town charm in Lanai City. We have two other movies about the resort hotels, The Lodge at Koele and the Manele Bay Hotel.
