INDIA IS MIND-BLOWING! Getting Lost in Old Delhi
FIRST TIME IN INDIA - Amazing Places in Delhi, India
WOW! That’s all we can say about our first time in India! We did a little research and found some amazing places in Delhi, India to visit during our 2 week stay. Today we’ll show you around Jama Masjid and Humayun’s Tomb, two beautiful monuments in the heart of the city in New Delhi, India! You don’t want to miss these.
Walking down the streets of Old Delhi, we were so overwhelmed with smells, sounds, and people. We can’t believe this is Delhi, India! It’s just like something we’ve never experienced before and I think it’s hard to even capture it on film. If you plan to travel to India, you’ll soon know what we mean. However, the two places we visited are some of the best places in Delhi to visit once you arrive in India.
Our first stop was Jama Masjid which is a mosque in Old Delhi, India. The mosque itself was built in 1656 AD and it’s courtyard can hold up to 25,000 people at one time for payer. Jama Masjid is absolutely gorgeous, but make sure you follow the non-muslim visiting hours. Even though we arrived during non-muslim visiting hours, we got kicked out. That was pretty disappointing because we wanted to film a bit more there and show you the beauty of this place in our India travel vlog. But, rules are rules! A little tip, if you bring a camera into the mosque it’s 300 Rupee per person ($4 usd)
Next we walked through the streets of Delhi and got a taste for local life in India. We walked through the Old Delhi neighborhood and saw vegetable markets set up on the sidewalk, morning commuters grabbing coffee from their favorite stand, and witnessed what living in India must feel like.
We then headed over to central Delhi to visit Humayun’s Tomb. If you ask anyone what to do in Delhi, they will tell you to visit Humayun’s Tomb. Built in the mid 1500’s by Persian architects, the monument was actually the structure that inspired the famous Taj Mahal. Now that’s some serious history! Although the Taj Mahal gets all the credit, Humayun’s Tomb is absolutely breathtaking and it was the first structure of it’s size to be built in all red sandstone.
Being our first time in Delhi, we think these two attractions were a great introduction into the history of the city and to India as a whole. Both Jama Masjid and Humayun’s Tomb are two things we recommend you must do in Delhi! A lot of people take Delhi as a starting point to go explore other places in India, however we think New Delhi city is a great place to experience the culture of India without too many tourists weighing down your experience.
We hope you enjoyed seeing our first time in India! We are exploring hidden gems, India street food, and tourist spots in Delhi India for the next two weeks. So make sure to subscribe for more India travel vlogs!
* We’re Ryan & Stacia from DeathbyVlog. Unlike other travel vloggers, we live and work in a different country each month with a moderate housing budget. Sorry, but no backpacker lifestyle here! Our channel will show you what it’s like to live abroad while exploring top tourist destinations and hidden gems. We will show you mouthwatering local food tours, provide history on each destination, and cinematic broll for all of you film lovers. Each month we rent an apartment or airbnb in a different city or country, so follow along on this journey and learn about countries around the world. We hope you enjoy our travel vlog, don’t forget to subscribe!

Delhi, India is a true CURRY HEAVEN, and we traveled here to go for this DEEP Street Food tour of Old Delhi! The Food Ranger (Trevor James) is in India eating Street Food! This walk through Old delhi truly was an AMAZING STREET FOOD ADVENTURE with delicious curry, amazing restaurants, and with so much tasty and UNIQUE Indian food recipes for our huge Indian dinner.
If you love eating street food around the world and street food in India, or even all over Asia, you will love the street food in Old Delhi. You can find street food everywhere, where everyone seems to cook delicious Indian recipes for curry and SPICY dishes all over the street.
In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style.
We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food.
The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!!
Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious!
After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish!
To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!!
The addresses for these street food restaurants in Old Delhi, India, are found on the main street below Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, India.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
Must Visit Places In Delhi | A Day Tour in Hop On Hop Off Bus | DesiGirl Traveller
Sightseeing tour is something we all wish to do when we visit to a new city. I love it too and that’s why I decided to take a sightseeing tour in Delhi – the capital city of India. I feel it is fun to explore your own city like a tourist. So, in this video, I have travelled in HOHO (Hop On/Hop Off) Bus to a few of the must-visit places of Delhi.
HOHO bus is a sightseeing tour (a part of Delhi Tourism) initiative to help the tourists explore the must-visit places of Delhi in the best possible manner. What makes HOHO bus tour different than organized tours by travel agencies is the fact that HOHO bus tour is inexpensive, flexible and doesn’t require a definite planning in advance. The ticket price is Rs 500 for 1 day trip in which you can travel to 20 tourists’ places in Delhi. There is a HOHO bus at every 40-45 mins at the dedicated bus stops in Delhi. The routes of Hop On Hop Off bus cover museums, monuments, gardens, galleries, hotels, bazaars, shopping malls etc. Overall, the service of this tour bus by Delhi Tourism is designed to offer a complete experience of the capital city of India to a tourist.
The ticket price doesn’t include tickets of monuments and other sites. You have to buy separate tickets for every monuments and sites of Delhi which you visit. Timing of the bus is: 7.50 am. 8.30 am, 9.10 am, 9.50 am, 10.30 am and so on. The bus starts from Baba Khadak Singh Marg. The earlier you start the more places you get to visit.
You can book the ticket either from the counter at HOHO Bus office at Baba Khadak Sign Marg, or buy it online from You can even buy entry ticket online for monuments like Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort etc and save time.
How to reach HOHO Bus Office:
Metro – Nearest Metro Rajeev Chowk Metro Station. Exit Gate No 7 (8 mins walking distance) From Airport – 20 mins by Express Metro from T3 to Shivaji Stadium metro station, (4 mins from HOHO Centre)

Biggest DELHI travel MISTAKES NOT to MAKE | TRAVEL VLOG IV
Delhi is a massive shock for most foreigner tourists and hence a lot of people, including me make some big travel mistakes. Which is not strange as it's one of the most intense cities in the world for travel. The heat, the crowds and an overload on things you've never seen before can easily wear you out and give you a bad impression of the city. On top of that it's a city where you should definitely enjoy but also be very vigilant.
Despite making big travel mistakes myself, I keep coming back to Delhi because it's is one of the greatest places for adventure and food in the world. Therefore I love to show the true beauty of Delhi to foreigner tourists by helping them avoid the biggest mistakes and travel the city, like I did in the top things to do in Delhi guide. This video is linked in the description below. In addition to that there are truly some massive travel mistakes foreigner tourists make which might ruin their trip to Delhi. I hope this video helps you to avoid the biggest Delhi travel mistakes if you're planning on visiting Delhi. If you know someone who's visiting Delhi please also share this video with them so they can also avoid the biggest Delhi travel mistakes.

TOP THINGS TO DO DELHI INDIA | TRAVEL VLOG IV
Having visited many times I can truly vouch Delhi is an incredible city with a lot of top things to do. On top of that you will see things you couldn’t even imagine. I absolutely adore visiting Delhi but I do always warn everybody to “respect the beast” as I like to call it.
Delhi is massive and not the easiest city to navigate due to the crowds, the traffic and sometimes incredibly hot weather.
Therefore I’d advise you to spread these activities over multiple days. This way you won’t have to rush, which is the number one thing that might get you in trouble and ruin your experience. I made a separate video on the biggest mistakes not to make in Delhi. This video is linked in the description below but this video is all about the Delhi top things to do. Hope this video helps you to see the true beauty of Delhi and get amazed with one of the most incredible cities in the world.

Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.
