A circuit walk in Glendalough one of Ireland’s most beautiful visitors’ destinations.The Glendalough Valley is located in the Wicklow Mountains National Park.The name Glendalough means 'valley of two lakes'. The valley stretches for over 3 km, and within it are several sites of interest.

Także historyczna osada i średniowieczny klasztor o tej samej nazwie.Polodowcowa dolina położona jest w południowo-wschodniej części gór Wicklow (irl. Sléibhte Chill Mhantáin), w zachodniej części hrabstwa Wicklow. W dolinie położone są dwa jeziora morenowe: Jezioro Dolne (ang. Lower Lake) i Jezioro Górne (ang. Upper Lake).

Scenic Wicklow Mountains/Historic Glendalough Monastery-Day Trip from Dublin, Ireland
We took a great day trip from Dublin to the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and the historic Glendalough Monastery with our singing tour guide. The scenic Wicklow mountains include a lot of bogs and streams-the Guinness family estate is here and the movie Braveheart was filmed in this area. The Glendalough monastery is several hundred years old and you can still see many of the old buildings, including the Round Tower, The Cathedral, the Priest's house, St. Kevin's Church, and the old cemetery. There is also a beautiful lake and green hills nearby.

Irish Adventures | Wicklow Travel Vlog | Eimear McElheron
Hi Everyone! Today I'm bringing you another Irish travel vlog and this time I'm exploring my home county, Wicklow! I love getting out and about in Wicklow and going on little adventures, there's always something to do and something new to see! In this vlog I've taken you to some of my favourite places and I've ventured out to some new places for me too.
I began by taking a trip out to The Happy Pear cafe in Greystones to have a bite to eat. While I was there I actually got to meet and film with the cafe owners, The Happy Pear themselves, Dave and Steve Flynn! I spent a couple of hours out in the cafe chatting with the twins and eating delicious food. Overall I had a wonderful day! As I mentioned in the vlog I can say it's probably the happiest, healthiest restaurant you'll come across here in Ireland and well worth the visit. If you aren't from Ireland you can still keep up to date with The Happy Pear over their social media and YouTube channel which you can find here:
Next myself and my friend Laura headed out to Powerscourt in Enniskerry for some afternoon tea, very fancy! The tea was €39 per person but well worth the money for the experience we had. The food was top quality, the service was impeccable and we just felt so at ease while there. A couple of weeks later I returned to Powerscourt but this time to check out the estate and gardens. The afternoon tea was in the Hotel and Spa Resort and to enter the gardens there is a charge. An adult ticket was €9.50 but again, worth the money. We spent a couple of hours walking around in awe.I can completely understand why they are award winning gardens! Irelands highest waterfall is also on the grounds but unfortunately we ran out of time so didn't get to check it out. We'll definitely be back though!
For the remainder of the vlog I'm exploring some of my favourite areas on foot which it what I love to do here. I visited Miners Cross, The Motte Stone and Avoca Handerweavers in Avoca. I took a trip out and completed a hill climb in Glendalough and finally I climbed a popular mountain here in Wicklow, The Great Sugarloaf.
