Northern Mexico , commonly referred as El Norte, is an informal term for the northern cultural and geographical area in Mexico. Depending on the source, it contains some or all of the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Nuevo León, Sinaloa, Sonora and Tamaulipas. In fact there is not a border that separates the northern states from the southern states in Mexico. For some authors, only states that have a border with the US are considered as northern Mexico, i.e. Baja California, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Sonora and Tamaulipas.   • 5. Avenida Guerrero Nuevo Laredo
    Avenida Vicente Guerrero is the principal north-south avenue in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Downtown Nuevo Laredo runs throughout the whole avenue. The avenue is the starting point for Mexican Federal Highway 85. It was named after Vicente Guerrero a Mexican historical figure. The avenue is considered the main strip, which is filled with tourist shops, restaurants, night clubs and bars . Avenida Vicente Guerrero is filled with many plazas and monuments. Avenida Guerrero is a two-lane, one-way street running from north to south. Avenida Vicente Guerrero north terminus is on Gateway to the Americas International Bridge to Convent Street in Laredo, Texas. Its southern terminus is on Avenida Reforma.

    Jorge Orlando Aravena Plaza is a retired Chilean footballer. A left-footed attacking midfielder or deep-lying forward, he played for several clubs in Latin America and Europe, including Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, Deportivo Cali and Puebla F.C.. Today, Aravena is considered a major figure in the history of these clubs. In addition, Aravena has managed several clubs in Chile and Latin America. Aravena also represented the Chile national football team. He earned 36 caps in the 1980s, scoring 22 goals.Throughout his career Jorge Aravena scored 285 goals, making him the fifth top scorer in the history of Chilean football and the highest scorer among midfielders.

    The Macroplaza or La Gran Plaza is a town square or plaza located in the heart of the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The Macroplaza was built in the early 1980s during the governorship of Alfonso Martínez Domínguez. The construction of the Macroplaza required the demolition of several old buildings and houses including a famous movie theater. The Macroplaza is the seventh-largest plaza in the world. It has an extension of 400,000 square metres consisting of various monuments, smaller plazas and gardens. One of the most iconic monuments of the city is the Faro del Comercio , a 70-meter-tall modern lighthouse located in the same plaza, equipped with a green laser, that shot its light around the city at nights.
