Holmpton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, in an area known as Holderness. It is situated approximately 3 miles south of Withernsea town centre and 3 miles east of the village of Patrington. It lies just inland from the North Sea coast. According to the 2011 UK Census, Holmpton parish had a population of 228, an increase on the 2001 UK Census figure of 193.The parish church of St Nicholas is a Grade II listed building.The Greenwich Prime Zero meridian line passes through the parish.
