Lissett is a village in the Holderness area of the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated 6 miles south of Bridlington town centre and 13 miles north-east of Beverley town centre on the A165 road that connects the two towns. Together with Ulrome it forms the civil parish of Lissett and Ulrome. In 1823 Lissett, with a population of 95, was in the parish of Beeford, and the Wapentake and Liberty of Holderness. A chapel of ease existed in the village.In 1942 an RAF station, RAF Lissett, was built there. Its main role was to serve as a bomber airfield for the Halifax Bomber 158 Squadron. The Director is Jemima Parry-Jones. In March 2013 a new branch was opened at Duncombe Park in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.

Cottingham to Bridlington at 180mph

My regular 30 mile journey from Cottingham to Bridlington compressed into 10 minutes - giving an average speed of 180mph. The journey takes us through Beverley and past the wind farm at Lissett.

This Is War - Rougham Airfield Control Tower Paranormal Investigation Ghosts Caught On Camera

This is another investigation from our series this is war. In this episode we travel to Rougham Airfield to investigate the Control Tower Museum.

In WW2 Rougham was home to the 94th Bomber Group who use to fly the famous B-17 Flying Fortress. People have reported seeing ghosts since the war itself.

During the investigation we get some amazing SB7 responses and have an entire convocation with a spirit named Paul. You may need to volume turned up and maybe some headphones as some of his responses are quite faint.
