Morden is a city located in the Pembina Valley region of southern Manitoba, Canada near the United States border. It is about 11 km (6.8 mi) west of the neighbouring city of Winkler. Morden, which is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Stanley, is the second largest city in Canada's Pembina Valley region. The city is located south of the Winnipeg Capital Region. The communities of Morden and Winkler are often referred to as Manitoba's Twin Cities, due to their extremely close proximity, shared services, and economic ties. According to Statistics Canada, the city had a population of 8,668 in 2016. Morden, along with the neighbouring city of Winkler, form an urban area with a population exceeding 22,000.

Like any sell job, it's not what they say that matters, it's what they don't, such as snow on the ground for four months of the year, temperatures in the -35C/-31F range (it was -38.5C on December 31, 2013) and mosquitoes in summer. *Eat a meal at The Forks—it used to be a horse stables and is now the place to meet, greet and eat!
*Stroll along the water
*Visit Journey to Churchill exhibit at Assinboine Park Zoo to learn more about Polar Bears and other arctic creatures.

*Canadian Museum for Human Rights opened in 2014 and is a must-visit spot!

*I loved my dinner at Passero at The Forks

*After my walking tour with the Polar Bears at Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge, it was great to relax and renew at Thermea.

Where did I stay? Inn at the Forks! It is lovely and I had the best view of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Thanks to Shel for meeting me for outdoor drinks at SMITH.
