Doveridge is a village and civil parish in Derbyshire, United Kingdom, near the border with Staffordshire and about 2 km east of Uttoxeter. Its name may come from its having a bridge over the river Dove , a tributary of the River Trent. The civil parish population as taken at the 2011 Census was 1,622.Doveridge has a pub, the Cavendish Arms, a village shop, and a working men's club. The village also has a football team and a cricket team, both quite successful in their local leagues.

1. Heights of Abraham Matlock Bath
The Heights of Abraham Cable Car is a gondola lift in the English county of Derbyshire. About 1/3 of a mile long , it links the spa town of Matlock Bath with the Heights of Abraham, a tourist attraction 554 feet above. The line was built by Poma and opened in Spring of 1984. The cable cars were upgraded in 2004, making them larger and more accessible, to 12 x six-seater cabins, which operate in four trains of three cabins each. An example of the smaller 1984 cabin can be seen displayed at the base station The line is operated on the relatively unusual single cable pulsed aerial ropeway principle, whereby the cabins are permanently fixed to the cable. At number 5. Sandwell
The available jobs in this West Midlands town are so poorly paid that the average resident has zero disposable income. The good news for locals is that Sandwell has a pretty high mortality rate, so they don’t have to suffer for very long.

At Number 4. Gwent Valleys
No matter which metric you choose to measure Gwent Valleys scores poorly. Crime? Check. Poor healthcare? Check. A-hole teenagers all around? Oh yeah. In a country that’s filled with coastline and rolling hills, Gwent Valleys has none of that. It’s just the worst.

At Number 3. High Wycombe
Petty crime and drug use are present; as is a low employment rate. The little money High Wycombe does have it spends on the schools which is great. Of course, that doesn’t do the average tourist any good.

At Number 2. Southampton
Southampton is simply filled with half-destroyed buildings blotting the landscape. To be fair, the place was bombed in World War II. That is a pretty solid excuse, but on the other hand, they’ve had the better part of eighty years to get the place back in order …

And at number 1. Morecambe
In the 1930s, luminaries like Coco Chanel used to hang out in Morecambe These days, Morecambe is more known for its dilapidation. The coastline outside the city is stunning, but if you’re being completely honest, coasts aren’t exactly a point of pride, and neither is Morecambe.
