Ronald Eldon Ron Sexsmith is a Canadian singer-songwriter from St. Catharines, Ontario. He was the songwriter of the year at the 2002 Juno Awards. He began releasing recordings of his own melancholic pop material in 1985 at age 21, and has since recorded fifteen albums. He was the subject of a 2010 documentary called Love Shines.

Dunvegan Provincial Park and Historic Dunvegan are a provincial park and a provincial historic site of Alberta located together on one site. They are located in Dunvegan, at the crossing of Peace River and Highway 2, between Rycroft and Fairview. The site was the location of one of Alberta's earliest fur trade posts and missionary centres. The location of the original Fort Dunvegan is also a National Historic Site of Canada. It was built in 1805 by Archibald Norman McLeod and named for his family's ancestral home, Dunvegan Castle. The historic site consists of a visitor centre and four historic buildings manned seasonally by historic interpreters. Smoky Lake, Alberta is located about one hour east of Edmonton, Alberta on Highway 28. This farming community is a great place to visit with friendly people and small town charm. Each year, in October, the Great White North Pumpkin Fair and Weigh-Off is held in this town. Part of the festivities is the Annual Iron Cruisers Show and Shine. Well worth the visit.
