Wine Festival near Carcassonne
Well it's really more than a wine festival. Les Ampelofolies c'est des fetes du nez! But primarily named after ampelography, the study of identifying vines based on visible characteristics.
But we celebrated all things wonderful to smell. The fresh fruits and vegetables, local cheeses, smoked meats, and WINE of course. Bands and companies play good ol' French tunes like Down by the Riverside... or do they?
I hope you enjoy this little collage of the events that took place in Moussoulens. It was a fun day (if a little cold) and a good way to recuperate from the epic windstorm that hit the day before.
Music by Les Enjolineurs. Check out the tiny trumpet. I wish the video quality was better. It is really small. Also, some sweet facial hair that is hard to make out in the youtube video.
As always, more wine and guingette info at the O'Vineyards website ovineyards.com
