1. Strathcona County Library Sherwood Park
Strathcona County is a specialized municipality in central Alberta, Canada between Edmonton and Elk Island National Park. It is located in Division No. 11 and is also part of the Edmonton Census Metropolitan Area. More than half of the population lives in Sherwood Park, a large community east of Edmonton that has opted to retain hamlet status. Strathcona County was designated as a specialized municipality on January 1, 1996, in order to accommodate the specific needs of an area that includes both urban and rural territory.

Sex tourism in Riga, Latvia - a short documentary.

For my final major college project, I decided to produce a film about sex tourism in my home town of Riga. As well as meeting a wide variety of male tourist groups from all over Europe, I interviewed a lot of locals that had come in to direct and indirect contact with the sex industry - everyone from a local rickshaw driver to the director of a company that organises stag weekends.
This film is neither supporting, nor opposing sex tourism, but is a mere look in to a subject that i have always found interesting and intriguing.

A big thank you to Luke Quinn and everyone in Year 2 Film & TV production at Reigate School of Art ,Design & Media, East Surrey College for making this possible.

Old Lublin Jewish Cemetery

This film shows the Old Jewish Cemetery in Lublin which is located at Kalinowszczyzna 5-7. They key is available at Teatr NN at the Grodzka Gate - so climbing over walls as potrayed in this film is not necessary.

The cemetery came into use in the fifteen century and was used until the nineteenth century when it was replaced by the New Cemetery which was destroyed by the Nazis but is now being restored.

The oldest Jewsih headstone in Poland can be found here. It commemorates the life of Jacob Kopelman who died in 1541. Near this tombstone there are also tombstones of rabbi Szalom Szachna and Salomon Luria. A metal protection has been built over the grave of Jacob Isaac Horovitz-Sternfeld.

From the seventeenth century onwards, the stones became increasingly ornate with the inscriptions presenting the life and character of the deceased. In this film we can see various animals and plants - my favourite being the squirrel. Many stones also show hands raised in order to give a blessing or a hand holding a pen or books which would signify that the person had been a writer or especially learned.

Lakeland Canoeing Adventure - Lac La Biche

Our July 24th of July consisted of Canoeing, Camping, Fishing and Eskimo Rolls.

In this video I wanted to capture what Canoeing in Northern Alberta is like.
The video was edited from footage taken on July 24th with a GoPro Hero HD wearable camera and a chesty mount.

Video was shot in 960p mode (1280 x 960 resolution) to capture the surroundings in full-frame and 170 degree ultra wide angle.

Lakeland Provincial Park is located east of Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada. It consists of many pristine lakes and streams interconnected together by land or by man-made trails, many of which can be used to portage the canoes or kayaks allowing for some nice paddling circuits - with nights spent camping at one of the many backcountry campsites.
