The Wayfarers Walking Vacations have launched a new walk in Brittany and Normandy, in response to demand from customers. Here Wayfarers founder Michael West talks about researching this new walk through a historic and beautiful part of France, focusing in particular on the walled medieval town of Dinan, the spectacular abbey and island of Mont St Michel, the beaches where the D-Day landings took place on 6 June, 1944, during World War Two, the sea-port of St Malo and the cider-making regions of Normandy. The walk has already proved immensely popular.
