El Valle de los Volcanes esta ubicado en el departamento de Arequipa. En él recorre el río Andagua de norte a sur. La zona alberga varios volcanes entre ellos la Antaymarca, a su alrededor están más de una decena de volcanes, destacado los mellizos Shipee y Jonson. El volcán más alto es Pucamauras con 350 m.

En el valle presenta una falla con presencia de lava basáltica. La falla en la parte de Andagua se encuentra entre 500 u 800 m más abajo que la parte de Huambo. La presencia de la lava se debe a la erupción múltiple de los pequeños volcanes. Estos volcanes emergieron por la desgasificación de lavas o erupciones desde el magma. La formación del valle data de hace doscientos mil años, durante el cuaternario.

En el valle se asienta Andagua que está situado a 3.600 msnm.

지난 남미여행에서 페루의 오아시스 마을 와카치나(우아카치나)는 큰 기대를 하고 갔던 여행지였습니다. 처음인 병권 작가는 TV프로그램에서 보았던 그곳을 떠올렸고 두 번째 방문하는 태식 작가는 지난 여행에서 최애 여행지 가운데 하나로 뽑았던 곳이죠. 하지만 남미 여행 가운데 가장 최악의 여행지가 되어버린 와카치나! 무슨 이유일까요? 그리고 스케줄에도 없었던 파라카스가 기대 이상이었던 이유까지 설명해드립니다.

Peru | South America Backpacking (2017)

This is part 5/7 of my South America travel video's, in this video I'll show you the beauty of Peru. Our first stop in Peru after we crossed the border from Bolivia was Puno, here we visited the floating islands and continued our way afterwards to Cusco. We celebrated New Years eve in Cusco in the Wild Rover hostel. Cusco is a beautiful city with a lot of things to do and see. We started our 4-day Machu Picchu Inca Jungle trail the 2nd of January, which you can see in my previous video. After Cusco we traveled by bus to Arequipa, the city itself isn't that exciting, but the Colca Canyons are! The hike is pretty tough, but the views are amazing, and if you are lucky you will spot a giant Condor. Next stop was Huacachina, here we did the buggy ride through the sand dunes, and sand boarding. Huacachina is a true Fata Morgana. From here we traveled to Paracas to see some wild life. The next big city on the road was Lima, and from here we flew to the North to Iquitos. Iquitos is a incredible city, all locals drive on took tooks. And they drive like crazy. On the markets in Iquitos you'll find the weirdest types of food and meat. Turtles, crocodiles, lizards, insects, etc. From here we booked a 4 day amazone jungle tour. In the amazone we did night walking tours searching for all kinds of animals, piranha fishing etc. The amazone is a truly wonderful place, disconnected from the rest of the world. We visited those places in the period from the 29th of December till the 11th of February. Filmed with gopro hero 4. In the next video you'll see: Colombia.
