    The Torre Ader is an 18th-century Florentine-style tower located in Villa Adelina in Vicente López Partido, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is an historical monument built in similar style to the Torre Monumental in Buenos Aires. It reaches a height of 42.30 m The tower was conceived in 1916 by Bernado Ader as Torre de la Independencia in honour of his deceased children and as a monument to the centenary of Argentine independence. Construction began in 1917; the architects were Artaza and Marino and the construction company was Steffanetti and Sons.

  • 4. Punta Delgada Lighthouse Punta Delgada
    Punta Delgada is a small town in the far south of Chile, close to the border with Argentina, on the RN255 between Punta Arenas and Rio Gallegos. It is the principal settlement in San Gregorio commune in Magallanes Province. Since 1921, there has been a Military Station in the town holding a full Infantry Battalion of the Chilean Army plus a small boat flotilla of the Chilean Navy along with Chilean Navy Signals/Communications HQ as well as a Navy SIGINT and Naval Intelligence forward base. Nearby is a ferry terminal at the Primera Angostura, from where the Pionero crosses the Strait of Magellan to Tierra del Fuego. Pali-Aike National Park lies 18 km north of the town.

    Nahuel Huapi National Park is the oldest national park in Argentina, established in 1934. It surrounds Nahuel Huapi Lake in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. The largest of the national parks in the region, it has an area of 7,050 km2 , or nearly 2 million acres. Its landscapes represent the north Patagonian Andean Zone consisting of three types, namely, the Altoandino , the Andino-Patagónico and the Patagonian steppe. It also represents small parts of the Valdivian Rainforest. The park and the reserve lie at an altitude of 720–3,574 metres , and are designated under IUCN management categories II and IV .
