Bad Blankenburg is a spa town in the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated 6 km southwest of Rudolstadt, and 37 km southeast of Erfurt. It is most famous for being the location of the first kindergarten of Friedrich Wilhelm August Fröbel, in 1837. To the north of it, on an eminence, rise the fine ruins of the castle of Greifenstein, built by the German king Henry I, and from 1275 to 1583 the seat of a cadet branch of the counts of Schwarzburg.In the nineteenth century, Bad Blankenburg was part of the small principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. Als Ausflugsziel im Norden Deutschlands ist der Harz nur zu empfehlen.Wir hatten ne Menge Spaß :)

Der Harz bietet wirklich schöne Wanderwege,Flora und Fauna.

Ein wirklich schöner Ort zum Erholen , Energie tanken!

Wir wandern in diesem Video durch ein Flussbett bis an einen Wanderweg der an einem Berg bis zu einem Wasserfall führt!

Auf dem Rückweg sahen wir das der Fluss wieder voll geflutet war
und wir wirklich Glück hatten das wir frühzeitig wieder aus dem Flussbett raus waren.

Also dieses Video ist nicht zur Nachahmung geeignet.

Für uns Stadtkinder aus Hannover war dieser Ausflug in die Natur wirklich unglaublich schön.Gerade auch weil der Harz relativ nah an Hannover liegt werden wir diesen Trip unbedingt wiederholen!

The Harz Mountain Range got a lot of beautiful tracking routes.

A really beautiful Place to relax and charge your soul.

We are tracking through an empty Riverbed,then we take a trail along a Mountain until we reached our Destination...a small Waterfall.

On our way back home we saw that the River was flooded,so we got a lot of luck that we had already passed the River.Otherwise it could have been very dangerous for us!!

This is a cool Natural Spot for us because we are from Hannover( a small grey city) and the Harz Mountain Range is not so far away.

So that´s why we love the Harz , and we are looking forward to come back to this beautiful Place.

Saalfeld/ Saale kann auf eine Geschichte von über 1000 Jahren zurück schauen. In der Innenstadt sind sehr viele denkmalgeschützte Gebäude zu finden.

Saalfeld/Saale ist eine Stadt in Thüringen. Sie ist die Kreisstadt des Landkreises Saalfeld-Rudolstadt im Südosten des Bundeslandes und liegt in einem etwa 250 km² großen Verdichtungsgebiet mit 75.000 Einwohnern, zu dem unter anderem auch die Städte Rudolstadt und Bad Blankenburg gehören.
Die drei Städte kooperieren im Rahmen des „Städtedreiecks Saalebogen“, der eine Städtefusion anstrebt, miteinander. Saalfeld liegt an der Saale in der Mitte des Saalebogens. Südwestlich der Stadt beginnt das Thüringer Schiefergebirge. Bekannteste Sehenswürdigkeit sind die Feengrotten, außerdem besitzt die Stadt Bedeutung als Eisenbahnknoten. Saalfeld ist als Mittelzentrum mit Teilfunktionen eines Oberzentrums eingestuft.
Auf dem Stadtrundgang besuchen wir einige wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie zB. die noch erhaltenen vier Stadttore.
In der Nähe von Saalfeld liegen sie berühmten Feengrotten.
