Bad Feilnbach is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim at the foot of Wendelstein Mountain in Germany. As a famous 'Moorheilbad' the municipality was awarded in 1973 the title Bad. Since the 19th century the peat deposits were the basis for a continued expansion of the spa and health facilities. The recognized healing success of black gold on a variety of diseases were the basis for the development of a well-known spa and tourist community. 1. Lake Tegernsee Tegernsee
The Tegernsee is a Zungenbecken lake in the Bavarian Alps in southern Germany. The lake is the centre of a popular recreation area 50 kilometres south-east of Munich. Resorts on the lake include the eponymous Tegernsee, as well as Bad Wiessee, Kreuth, Gmund, and Rottach-Egern. The lake is some 6.5 kilometres in length, with a width of 1.4 kilometres and an area of 8.934 square kilometres . It reaches a maximum depth of 72.6 metres , with an average depth of 36.3 metres , and the normal water level is 725.5 metres above sea level. The lake flows into the River Mangfall, a tributary of the River Inn and thence the River Danube. The buildings of the former Benedictine monastery of Tegernsee Abbey lie on the banks of the lake. Ettal Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in the village of Ettal close to Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, Germany. With a community of more than 50 monks, with another five at Wechselburg, the Abbey is one of the largest Benedictine houses and is a major attraction for visitors.

Bad Feilnbach Videos

Nürnberg, en underskattad pärla i Bayern - Eurotrip 2017

Vi lämnade Innsbruck med ovetskapen om vart vi skulle tillbringa natten. Efter att ha letat boende under någon timme hittade vi ett hotell i den tyska staden Nürnberg. Morgonen därpå gav vi oss ut för att upptäcka denna stad som vi inte visste någonting om. Vi blev glatt överraskade över vad denna stad hade att erbjuda.

Efter några timmar i Nürnberg begav vi oss vidare upp igenom Tyskland, med en övernattning utanför Potsdam för att sedan åka vidare till Rostock där vi spenderade några väldigt långa timmar innan vi kunde köra på nattbåten som tog oss hem till Sverige igen.
