Bardu is a municipality in Troms county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Setermoen, the largest urban area in the municipality. The 2,704-square-kilometre municipality is the 16th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Bardu is the 231st most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 3,994. 1. Polar Park Bardu Municipality
Polar Park is a wildlife park in the municipality of Bardu in Troms county, Norway. The park opened on 18 June 1994, displaying animals in their natural habitat. With only 12 enclosures on 114 acres , the park has the world's biggest area per animal ratio. The park specializes in Nordic fauna, including most of the big predators of the arctic: Brown bear, lynx and wolf. There are also moose, red deer, reindeer and muskox.

Kiruna is the northernmost town in Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland. It had 18,148 inhabitants in 2010 and is the seat of Kiruna Municipality in Norrbotten County.
The city's vicinity shares a long history with the indigenous Sami people, with evidence of at least 6000 years of settlement. The city of Kiruna was founded in 1900 and quickly became a major centre of iron ore extraction and mining industry. During World War II, large quantities of iron were transported from Kiruna by rail to the east coast, and further down to be sold to Germany.
