Barendrecht is a town and lordship in the Netherlands, located as a suburb of Rotterdam in the province of South Holland. The municipality had a population of 48,474 in 2017, and covers an area of 21.73 km2 of which 1.90 km2 is water. The writer Jan Geurt Gaarlandt has been Lord of Barendrecht since 1995.The municipality of Barendrecht also includes the following communities: Barendrecht-Carnisselande, Smitshoek.

1. Safaripark Beekse Bergen Tilburg
Safaripark Beekse Bergen is the largest wildlife zoo of the Benelux region and provides a home to approximately 1,250 animals from over 150 species, varying from small mammals to large birds. It is located between the cities of Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek in the south of the Netherlands. The visitors can for instance watch zebras and giraffes on the spacious savannahs. Safaripark Beekse Bergen offers the possibility to explore the park on numerous safaris: walksafari, carsafari, bussafari and boatsafari. The park is owned by the company Libéma Exploitatie BV, which is one of the largest leisure-related companies in the Netherlands. Saenredam Project Barendrecht, Holland

Aerial video made with a Phantom 3 of my land art project Pieter Janszoon Saenredam in Barendrecht, Holland. It was completed in 1985. Every three years the willows are pollarded. Every twelve-and-a-half years the trunks ar whitewashed. Pollarding started in the Middle Ages in Europe in order to produce kindling for fire places and fodder for livestock.

Amsterdam jest znany z ogromnej liczby rowerów i znakomitej infrastruktury rowerowej. Około 70% całego ruchu w centrum miasta odbywa się na rowerach. Jest ich w Amsterdamie około 900 tysięcy. Można nawet skorzystać z usług rowerowych taksówek tzw: Amsterdam Bike Taxi które stały się już bardziej popularne niż tradycyjne samochodowe taksówki dla których ruch w centrum jest mocno ograniczony. Większość ulic ma wyznaczoną drogę rowerową, w mieście jest także wiele parkingów dla rowerów. Rocznie około 80 000 tych jednośladów zostaje skradzionych, a 25 tysięcy wpada do amsterdamskich kanałów.
