Beek is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 5 km east of Nijmegen. Beek has a population of about 3490.Beek was a separate municipality until 1818, when it became a part of Ubbergen.

1. De Hoge Veluwe National Park Hoenderloo
Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe is a Dutch national park in the province of Gelderland near the cities of Ede, Wageningen, Arnhem and Apeldoorn. It is approximately 55 square kilometers in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. It is situated in the Veluwe, the area of the largest terminal moraine in the Netherlands. Most of the landscape of the park and the Veluwe was created during the last Ice Age. The alternating sand dune areas and heathlands may have been caused by human utilization of the surrounding lands. The park forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands.

Stadswandeling door Zaltbommel. Zowel herkenbare als niet-herkenbare elementen komen aan bod: enkele torens, monumentale panden tot zelfs de Grote of Sint-Maartenskerk en het Stadskasteel of Maarten van Rossumhuis. Vele huizen hebben een voordeur met een bijzonder staaltje smeedwerk, waar er een verhaal aan gebonden is. Wie weet, word je opgeschrikt door een gootspook.. Hun Gootspokenroute is een absolute aanrader.

Het is ook heerlijk wandelen langs de Waal, die de stad zuidwaarts begrenst. Begroet worden door Jip en Janneke of genieten van het uitgestrekte landschap langs de oevers. Daarnaast is er voldoende voorraad natuur aanwezig in de stad. Een stadskwekerij en talrijke voortuintjes werden ontmoet. De groene loper ligt voor je klaar.
