Wildlands is an adventure theme park with four main areas: Jungola, Serenga, Nortica and Animazia. Jungola is jungle-themed and displays butterflies, tropical birds, large reptiles , ring-tailed lemurs, lar gibbons, small-clawed otters and Asian elephants. La boda de mis papás John Paul McGrath Molloy y Ana Maria Olvera Calderón fue filmada en 16 mm en la Capilla de Santa Teresita en Lomas de Chapultepec, México D.F., 1950. Atrás se ve mi abuelita Maria Calderón Vda. de Olvera con mantilla negra. Amalia Rivero, Marta Mayer (su nombre de casada), el padrino de boda, Don Adolfo López - dueño del Hotel Mirador en Acapulco sobre la Quebrada (donde pasaron la luna de miel mis papás), el Hotel La Borda en Taxco y dueño de barcos petroleros en Tampico (su compañía se llamaba López Hermanos de Tampico. De la iglesia, los festejados se fueron a la casa de su tía Anita Olvera Vda. de Aupetit para la recepción. Fué una celebración simple, porque, como la boda de mi prima Silvia que fue dias después que se murió nuestra abuelita Maria, La abuelita paterna, y mamá de su tia Anita, se acababa de morir. En fin, todo esto lo acabo de platicar con mi mamá por teléfono en su casa en el D.F, y yo en Jupiter, Florida. ------------------------- This is my mom and dad's wedding in Mexico City. The thin mustachio guy is my uncle Alberto, my mom's older brother. My grandmother is the lady to the right, she didn't look too happy to lose her daughter... The priest was American and gave the mass in English! That must have disturbed the guests a bit. There were no relatives of my dad's. The man with the dark glove is an oil tanker tycoon who my mom knew from the restaurant she worked in. He treated them to a honeymoon at the Mirador in Acapulco overlooking the Quebrada, that cliff where the guys dive from. My dad didn't do well in México with work for a while and he had to work back in the States on a plane building factory. Maybe he got that seeing as how he was a bomber veteran. they lived together in Mexico City for 39 years when my dad died. My mom brother and sister are still there surrounded with a loving community in the Christian faith.
