Berlicum is a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant, located in the Meierij region near the city of 's-Hertogenbosch and the river Aa. The town was most likely founded between 600 and 700 AD. It was a municipality along with the village of Middelrode until a large-scale municipal reorganisation in 1996, when Berlicum and neighbouring Den Dungen merged with the municipality of Sint-Michielsgestel. In 2009, Berlicum had 9,743 inhabitants.

Efteling is a fantasy-themed amusement park in Kaatsheuvel in the Netherlands. The attractions are based on elements from ancient myths and legends, fairy tales, fables, and folklore. The park was opened on May 31, 1952. It has since evolved from a nature park with a playground and a Fairytale Forest into a full-sized theme park. It now caters to both children and adults with its cultural, romantic, and nostalgic themes, in addition to its wide array of amusement rides. It is the largest theme park in the Netherlands and one of the oldest theme parks in the world. It is twice as large as the original Disneyland park in California and predates it by three years. 2. Safaripark Beekse Bergen Tilburg
Safaripark Beekse Bergen is the largest wildlife zoo of the Benelux region and provides a home to approximately 1,250 animals from over 150 species, varying from small mammals to large birds. It is located between the cities of Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek in the south of the Netherlands. The visitors can for instance watch zebras and giraffes on the spacious savannahs. Safaripark Beekse Bergen offers the possibility to explore the park on numerous safaris: walksafari, carsafari, bussafari and boatsafari. The park is owned by the company Libéma Exploitatie BV, which is one of the largest leisure-related companies in the Netherlands. Architectural engineers have created some amazing structures in this world but the Veluwemeer Aqueduct in the Netherlands is truly the best. Most aqueducts are basically bridges that are built above water. But the Veluwemeer Aqueduct is a bridge for the passing ships while those driving in cars go through a tunnel underneath the bridge. In other words, it is an underwater tunnel where the ships sail on the top and the cars travel underneath it. That way traffic jams can be avoided because cars no longer have to wait for boats to pass by anymore. - The Mind Circle

The travel information in the Netherlands and Flanders is based on the cycle path interconnection grid, an excellent and easy-to-use system connecting cycle paths. This grid connects thousands of miles of cycle paths and beautiful cycle routes. At a crossing point on this grid you will find a map of the area and an information board. The cycle routes between such points have clear sign-posting. The interconnecting points are orientation points where you can lengthen or shorten your route.

These points are set out on the map you use for your cycle routes. Of course the travel guides aboard will explain this system to you and show you pointsof interest along the way.

In this video you see some of the best places to visit in Amersfoort. During this weekend trip to Amersfoort in The Netherlands we take you along these sights (in order of appearance):
- Koppelpoort which was part of the old city wall
- a guided city tour with Inge from Amersfoortse Gidsen
- Cafe Juffrouw Jacoba - they served delicious French Toast (Wentelteefjes)
- the saturday market Op de Hof
- Corazon Bakery in the Krommestraat where Tobias tells us that he works there with heart and soul - not to get rich, but happy!
- lots of old cobble streets in Muurhuizen quarter
- a cheese shop Liefde & Ambacht (Love & Craft) where we meet owner Robin, 4th generation cheese monger

- NH Hotel Amersfoort with breakfast and a view

The next day we go by Tuk-Tuk from #Amersfoort to Paleis Soestdijk which is freezing cold in January but very big fun!
