1. Bowmore Distillery Bowmore
Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779. The distillery is owned by Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd, a holding company owned by Japanese drinks company Suntory. Morrison Bowmore also own the Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch distilleries and produce the McClelland's Single Malt range of bottlings.

Following on from an earlier teaser here is the full video of a flight over beautiful Saligo Bay on the west of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. Filmed with a DJI Phantom 3 quadcopter we start with a few low level views, skimming low over the beach, dunes, rocks and waves. UM! Whisky Tour #59: Ben Nevis

Sitting at the foot of our mighty highland mountain is the Ben Nevis distillery, a stones throw away from Fort William. Although in great need of renovation by it's Japanese owners, the stills at the distillery still make a wonderful little creamy spirit which is a delight to taste... perhaps it has something to do with the dual still condensers which is unique to my adventures so far... Mention must be made here of the old Nevis distillery which sat up the road from here but sadly now, long gone...
