Brummen is a municipality and a village in the eastern Netherlands. Brummen has a small railway station - Brummen railway station on the line between Zutphen and Arnhem. The village is situated about 7 km southwest of Zutphen, no farther than 1.5 km from the IJssel river. About two kilometers west of the village, on the edge of the Veluwe forest area, lies the Engelenburg resort, a castle-like house. It is in use as a hotel for golf players and has a 9-hole golf-link.

1. Zuiderzee Museum (Zuiderzeemuseum) Enkhuizen
The Zuiderzee Museum, located on Wierdijk in the historic center of Enkhuizen, is a Dutch museum devoted to preserving the cultural heritage and maritime history from the old Zuiderzee region. With the closing of the Afsluitdijk on May 28, 1932, the Zuiderzee was split in two parts: the waters below the Afsluitdijk are now called the IJsselmeer, while the waters north of it are called the Waddenzee.

Where does the need for adrenaline come from, and how do we cope with it when it is needed? With rainfall, thunderstorms or extreme drought, nature is unloading. The way we live from day to day, and from generation to generation in this country reflects our resilient mentality. The Netherlands from above season 2 tells us the story of seeing and taking opportunities, falling and rising up again, reinventing the wheel again and again. Where the first series was an ode to the makeable Netherlands, this second series is an ode to our resilience.

The 15th century country estate Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek is situated in the most southern part of the Netherlands. The surroundings have lots to offer for biking and hiking enthusiasts.
