Caribbean Island Picnic with Michael Tours in Isle à Quatre, in St Vincent and the Grenadines
I follow Michael Tours in Bequia on a day trip to the neighbouring islands of Isle à Quatre and Petit Nevis, for a Bequia-style traditional island picnic. The tour is one of several run by Michael Bynoe (aka Chabin). Over the years, I have been on several of them, and his guests have always hugely enjoyed his trips, to Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, PSV, Palm Island, Union Island, Happy Island, Mopion, Petite Martinique and Carriacou. These are islands relatively few people get the chance to visit, and sample life in - despite the islands being hugely popular by billionaires yachting through these Caribbean waters. As one English visitor once told me, the St Vincent Grenadines are the ‘A class’ of Caribbean destinations, and expensive to visit. I am happy to share my long experience of the islands with others, hoping it may enthuse them to visit and sample for themselves life in the islands that make them the only annual destination for those in the know.
