Cekcyn [ˈt͡sɛkt͡sɨn] is a village in Tuchola County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Cekcyn. It lies approximately 11 kilometres east of Tuchola and 51 km north of Bydgoszcz. The village has a population of 1,710. Cekcyn is located in the middle of the 'Bory Tucholskie' Region. Around the buildings there are few lakes with the biggest one - Wielkie Jezioro Cekcyńskie. The word 'bory' means woods riddled with conifers, mainly pines.
