    Cerro Catedral is a mountain located 19 kilometres from San Carlos de Bariloche, and inside the Nahuel Huapí National Park, Patagonia, Argentina. The mountain is the biggest ski center in South America and in the Southern Hemisphere, with a skiable area of 6 km2 , 120 km of ski runs, and a lift capacity of 35,000 skiers per hour. It is also popular due to the views of the Nahuel Huapi lake. There are also a number of hotels and hostels at the foot of the mountain, and a summer hikers' hut called Refugio Lynch on one of the tops of the mountain.     Cerro Uritorco is a mountain and highest peak of the Sierras Chicas chain in the northwest of the province of Córdoba, Argentina. It is located next to the Calabalumba River, three km from the center of the city of Capilla del Monte, and its summit is at 1,949 m above mean sea level. The name Uritu urqu means Male Hill in Santiago del Estero Quichua, which is, however, not the aboriginal Comechingón language. Uritorco is under private administration, and can be accessed by the public for a small fee. It is considered a medium-difficulty ascent, taking around three hours to reach the top provided the appropriate hiking path is followed. In 2012, the mountain was closed on December 21, as a mass suicide had been proposed on Facebook to take place there due to the 2012 phenomenon.

    La Piedra Movediza was a balancing rock located in Tandil, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Its weight was about 300 tons. It attracted attention and tourists because of the way it was balanced on the edge of a hill. The stone fell and broke on 29 February 1912. Some sources say it fell due to vandalism or vibrations caused by explosions in a nearby quarry.
