Chirala also known as Kshirapuri is a town in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and the headquarters of Chirala mandal in Ongole revenue division. As of 2011 census of India, it had a population of 87,200. It is also known as 'SMALL BOMBAY' or 'MINI MUMBAI' of South India where textiles and hand-loom are famous till date. It is also one of the main producers of Cashew Nuts in different varieties and are exported across the world. Chirala is also famous tourist spot for beach resorts, Vodarevu beach is just 6 kilo meter's away.
