Hedel is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Maasdriel, and lies about 7 km northwest of 's-Hertogenbosch. Hedel was a separate municipality until 1999, when it was merged with Maasdriel.In World War II, there were a lot of fights in Hedel, especially during the month April 1945 when the armies of the Princess Irene Brigade came to liberate the town. Hedel has a very strategic location, it lies on the border of Gelderland and North-Brabant and on the Maas. Almost the whole town of Hedel was destroyed during World War II. 1. Keukenhof Lisse
Keukenhof , also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares .Keukenhof is located in South Holland, south of Haarlem and southwest of Amsterdam. It is accessible by bus from the train stations of Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol. It is located in an area called the Dune and Bulb Region . Keukenhof is open annually from mid-March to mid-May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, depending on the weather.

2. De Hoge Veluwe National Park Hoenderloo
Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe is a Dutch national park in the province of Gelderland near the cities of Ede, Wageningen, Arnhem and Apeldoorn. It is approximately 55 square kilometers in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. It is situated in the Veluwe, the area of the largest terminal moraine in the Netherlands. Most of the landscape of the park and the Veluwe was created during the last Ice Age. The alternating sand dune areas and heathlands may have been caused by human utilization of the surrounding lands. The park forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands.

The Dieze is a short river in North Brabant, The Netherlands, tributary of the Meuse. It is formed by the confluence of the rivers Aa and Dommel in 's-Hertogenbosch. The part of the Dieze in the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch is called Binnendieze: a partly covered network of canals. The Dieze flows into the Meuse near Hedel.'s-Hertogenbosch (literally The Duke's Forest) is a city and municipality in the southern Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of North Brabant. 's-Hertogenbosch is located 80 km south of Amsterdam. In speech, the Dutch seldom use the formal 's-Hertogenbosch but rather the colloquial Den Bosch Den Bosch means The Forest. population 137.000

De Binnendieze is de verzamelnaam van een aantal stromen in de binnenstad van 's-Hertogenbosch.
Omdat de stad in verleden nauwelijks ruimte had zich uit te breiden, is in de loop van de tijd een groot deel van de Binnendieze overkluisd, dat wil zeggen overbouwd met huizen. De beken waren (en zijn) daardoor nog nauwelijks als zodanig te herkennen. De ontwikkeling is hier dus heel anders geweest dan bij Hollandse steden, waar de grachten voor de huizen liepen. De beken gingen steeds meer fungeren als riool. De populatie knaagdieren moest in toom gehouden worden door speciale rattenvangers die de beesten met gekookte aardappels lokten om ze in het duister letterlijk aan de haak te slaan. Halverwege de 20e eeuw besloot men het water te dempen, maar vanwege het unieke karakter is hiertegen verzet ontstaan. Toen dit succes had is men in 1973 met de restauratie begonnen. De restauratie was klaar in het najaar van 1998.
Tegenwoordig behoort een boottochtje over de Binnendieze en onder de stad tot een van de toeristische hoogtepunten van 's-Hertogenbosch.
Bij het ontstaan van de stad moet er al een groot aantal vertakkingen geweest zijn, waartussen donken waren opgewaaid. Het begin van 's-Hertogenbosch was een omwalling van de Markt die op een donk ligt. Toen werden al meteen kunstmatige lopen gegraven die dienden als eerste stadsgracht. Later werden ten behoeve van de doorstroming, goed voor scheepvaart en ontwatering, een aantal doorsteken gegraven. Zo ontstond een waar doolhof van ongeveer twaalf kilometer lengte, waarvan nu bijna een derde resteert: 3630 meter, 1290 meter daarvan overkluisd. Bij bouwprojecten worden nog regelmatig in vergetelheid geraakte vertakkingen herontdekt.
