Stift Sankt Florian, Oberösterreich - Austria HD Travel Channel
St. Florian's Priory, near the town of Enns in Upper Austria, was built in the baroque style by Carlo Antonio Carlone and completed by Jacob Prandtauer. In 1071, Bishop Altmann of Passau founded the community of Augustinian Canons here. Not every day you experience a sung Lord's Prayer accompanied by a Bruckner organ. The organ is named after the composer Bruckner, who was working as organist in St. Florian.
Bruckner is buried in the basilica of St. Florian.

Das Augustiner-Chorherrenstift St. Florian, nahe der Stadt Enns in Oberösterreich, wurde im barocken Stil von Carlo Antonio Carlone erbaut und von Jakob Prandtauer vollendet. Im Jahre 1071 gründete Bischof Altmann von Passau hier die Gemeinschaft der Augustiner-Chorherren.
Nicht jeden Tag erlebt man ein gesungenes Vaterunser begleitet von einer Bruckner Orgel. Die Orgel ist benannt nach dem Komponisten Bruckner, der als Organist in St. Florian tätig war.
Bruckner ist in der Stiftsbasilika St. Florian begraben.

Výstup (hiking) Hallstat - Simonyhütte - Salzkammergut Austria

Výstup k Simonyhütte od Hallstatu. Tahle cesta je technicky nenáročná, ale zase počítejte s tím, že pokud jdete s batohem a vybavením na několik dní, tak výstupem strávíte asi 5 hodin. První polovina je poměrně prudká a v lese, druhá polovina je o poznání mírnější a s krásnými výhledy do krajiny. Horská chata Simonyhütte je velmi příjemné místo, kde strávit noc. Ceny jsou pro členy Alpenvereinu velmi příznivé 10 eur (2012) za noc a provozovatelé jsou velmi příjemní a ochotní lidé. Trochu komplikované je to tu s pitnou vodou, protože je zde pouze voda dešťová, a pokud několik dní neprší, tak se vám může stát, že tu vodu nedoplníte. Asi vás nenechají zemřít žízní, ale doporučuji si vzít raději nějakou vodu navíc už dole v údolí, nebo se na tohle téma před výstupem telefonicky zeptat provozovatelů. Výstup si můžete zjednodušit i pomocí lanovky, ale kdo by to dělal že :-)
Ascent to Simonyhütte from Hallstat. This route is technically simple, but again, note that if you go with a backpack and equipment for a few days, so the ascent will take about five hours. The first half is quite steep and in the forest, the second half is much milder and beautiful countryside views. Chalet Simonyhütte is a very nice place to spend the night. Prices are for members Alpenverein very reasonable 10 euros (2012) per night and operators are very friendly and helpful people. It's a bit complicated here with drinking water, because there is only rain water, and if it does not rain for several days, so you may find that the water replenish. Probably will not let you die of thirst, but rather suggest you take some water, moreover, was down in the valley, or on the subject before climbing over the phone to ask operators. Ascent can simplify even with lifts, but who's doing it :-)
