Visit Czech Republic: UNESCO Heritage Sites in Vysočina Region

The Vysočina Region is located in the South-Eastern part of the historical region of Bohemia and partly in the South-West of Moravia.

The UNESCO Heritage Sites in this video are as follows:

• Church of the Pilgrimage of St. John of Nepomuk in Žďár nad Sázavou
• St. Procopius Basilica and Jewish Quarter in Třebíč
• Old Town Square in Telč

Mi primera parada en la región de Moravia la hago en Kromeriz un bonito municipio de unos 30.000 habitantes. Aquí la vida es muy tranquila. El lugar ideal para salir a pasear y tomar una cerveza con los amigos. La ciudad se organiza en torno a la Plaza Velke junto a la cual tenemos la Catedral de Sant Morit de estilo Neoclásico y la iglesia de San Juan Bautista de estilo Barroco. Pero lo que me ha traído hasta Kromeriz es este edificio. Cuando vengáis de visita a la República Checa la ciudad de Kromeriz es visita obligatoria ya que aquí se encuentra el palacio de Arzobispo, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.

My first stop in the region of Moravia is Kromeriz, a pretty town of about 30,000 inhabitants. Life here is very quiet. It is the ideal place to go for a walk and have a beer with friends. The city is organized around the Velke Square, where we find the neoclassical Cathedral of Saint Moritz and the church of Saint John the Baptist in Baroque style. But what has brought me to Kromeriz is this building. When you come to visit the Czech Republic, the city of Kromeriz is a mandatory visit because here is the Archbishop’s Palace, declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

For Diving, I found a local group here that goes diving on the weekends. They kindly let me tag along and my first dive in the Czech Republic was a 10 meter deep pond in the village of Lomeček.

The pond is filled with underwater statues and mini submersibles. It was cool to see those plus the fish.
