Huainan is a prefecture-level city with 2,334,000 inhabitants in central Anhui Province, People’s Republic of China. It is named for the former Principality of Huainan. It borders the provincial capital of Hefei to the south, Lu'an to the southwest, Fuyang to the west, Bozhou to the northwest, Bengbu to the northeast and Chuzhou to the east. Huainan is one of the core cities of Hefei Metropolitan Circle and is known for its coal industry and thermal power plants. Its built-up area is home to 1,938,212 inhabitants in 2010. Its city flower is Rosa chinensis and its city tree is Platanus. It is also considered to be the hometown and birthplace of tofu.

1. Bagong Mountain Huainan
Bagong Mountain Scenic Spot is a national AAAA level scenic spot. It locates at Bagongshan District, Huainan, Anhui province. Mountain Bagong, known as a famous historic mountain, has many stories and legends like ride/hang on someone's coattails. Bagongshan Toufu created by Liu An is well-known across the world and it plays an irreplaceable role in Chinese cuisine. Besides, Bagongshan is the originating place of creatures. Fossils of Huainan, commonly known as Huainan worm was formed 800 million years ago. It is by far the Earth's earliest ancient fossils ever found by the international geological community entitled it as the Blue Planet on the source of life.

Construida en la localidad Huainan, al este de China, The Piano House es una casa con un particular diseño que reproduce en grandes dimensiones un piano y un violín.

Con la idea de atraer turismo a la zona y de construir un lugar en donde los estudiantes de música de la universidad local puedan reunirse apracticar, el gobierno de Huainan en la provincia de An Hui decidió diseñar un edificio que aparenta ser un gigantesco piano con un violín de cristal como entrada.
Aquí podemos ver fotos y leer una corta reseña para comprobar una vez más que los chinos no dejas de asombrarnos con su creatividad, en este caso, en el arte, arquitectura y música.
