LIELIE KANGARI. LATVIA

This is one of the most impressive and extensive natural structures of its kind in Latvia in terms of appearance and landscape. The ice age left behind this wall-like terrain, which is up to 27 metres high and at the top of which the Rīga-Ērgļi road has been built. The Great Kangari hills offer a view of the Great Kangars lake and the Great Kangari swamps and ponds. The Ķoderi castle hill, also known as the “Big Man’s Bed” is found here. The restricted area was established to protect the structure and its related biotopes and plants.

СПРАВКА: REFERENCE:
Са́лацгрива (латыш.  Salacgrīva, эст. Salatsi, нем. Salis) — город на севере Латвии, административный центр Салацгривского края. До 1 июля 2009 года входил в состав Лимбажского района.
Находится на восточном берегу Рижского залива, в устье реки Салаца. Расстояние до других городов:Рига — 103 км, Лимбажи — 50 км, Валмиера — 95 км. Площадь 12,57 км².
Название города отражает его местонахождение в устье Салацы. Город был основан как ливское рыбацкое поселение и до настоящего времени сохраняет ауру рыбацкого городка.

I didn't spent many days in Latvia due to I lost about 1 week in Lithuania trying to fix the rectifier problems and I really wanted to hit the road and cover some mileage.
I've passed through some small towns and I visited Riga off course which was very touristic at the time I was there..
Not really what I was looking for. I spent about 4 days in Latvia but they were enough to see some things and enjoy the nature.
The roads are boring straight and they start to get interesting on the way to Cesis where I passed through a national park.
