Five Flower Lake (also called the Wuhua Hai) is one of 118 lakes in Jiuzhaigou Valley Nature Reserve, located in the north of Sichuan, China, are 6th best in the world. It is the most beautiful lake in the valley and is regarded as one of the wonders of Jiuzhaigou. Five Flower Lake is considered as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world due to its breathtaking colors which are a result of its lake-bottom travertine and colorful algae. The pride of Jiuzhaigou Valley, Five-Flower Lake lies at the end of the upper reach of Peacock River, 2,472 meters (about 8,110 feet) above the sea level and five meters (about 16 feet) in depth. Most of the colorful leaves are gathered in the lakefront and interlaced as brocades. The water that contains calcium carbonate as well as hydrophytes with different colors presents a versicolor sight, azure blue, blackish green and light yellow, etc, so it is named Five-Flower Lake. The local people say that it is a holy lake, and where there is the water, there must be flourishing flowers and trees. When looking down from the mountain, you will find that the lake with hills on three sides is just like a huge upended cucurbit pouring colorful water to the lower place. The pristine water of Five Flower Lake is the pride of Jiuzhaigou. The lake lies at the end of the upper reach of Peacock River at an elevation of 2,472 meters (about 8,110 feet) above the sea level. The shallow lake of five meters (about 16 feet) in depth glistens different shades of turquoise and its floor is littered with fallen ancient tree trunks. The colors of the lake are formed by mineral deposits, aquatic plant life and unevenly distributed submerged plants. Five Flower Lake's autumn reflections are a spectacular display of nature.
Peculiarly, there is a pattern of a deer's leg in the abdomen of the cucurbit, 10 meters (about 33 feet) or so. The whole pattern is light green, while the middle part presents dark green due to the quincunx-shaped pits of the terrain of the lake bed. So the pattern is really like a spotted deer. The legend said that the deity of all mountains hurt the holy deer. that belonged to the King of Forest by mistake when he was seeking for water source in the mountain. The King of Forest was so furious that he chased the deity on the holy deer and wanted to kill him. Other deities cut off one leg of the deer in order to help the deity of all mountains. Then the holy deer fell down and became the colorful lake.

10. Nubra Valley: The green canopy springing up in the cold white sand desert of Ladakh nestled in the northern tip of India in one of Asia’a best kept secret. Nubra valley can be reached from the city of Leh in the Karakoram Ranges. Foreigners need an inner line permit to visit the place. In Nubra valley one can enjoy view of Bactrian camel plying in the desert. These camels were brought by the caravan who once crossed this place to reach China along the Silk Route.

The mystical Siwa also boasts of a pool where Queen Cleopatra is believed to have swim according to the legends.
7. Ein Gedi: Ein Gedi finds its mention in the Bible and is often referred as an oasis in the Garden of Eden. It provides a rare blend of history, architecture and wilderness of nature. This pretty oasis is located west of Dead Sea in the Judean desert between Masada and Qumran Caves in Israel.
6. Zulganai Oasis: The magic of the Gobi desert does not end in China but extends into its neighbour Mongolia. The beautiful oasis of Zulganai located in South Mongolia owes its existence to the river Zulganai which originates in the Mountain of Altan flows through the desert and vanishes into the sands.

The place is often rightly referred to as ‘the castle of the Sun’. In the past Roman soldiers used the place as an African outpost which is nowadays frequented by tourist. Drawn by its remote other worldly beauty one of the Star Wars movies was shot here.

Guilin, formerly romanized as Kweilin, is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is situated on the west bank of the Li River and borders Hunan to the north. Its name means Forest of Sweet Osmanthus, owing to the large number of fragrant sweet osmanthus trees located in the region. The city has long been renowned for its scenery of karst topography and is one of China's most popular tourist destinations
Relics found in the city's Baojiyan (simplified Chinese: 宝积岩; traditional Chinese: 寶積岩) and Zengpiyan (Chinese: 甑皮岩) caves that dates back to approximately 10,000 years ago. The Zengpiyan people had a matriarchal clan society. Before the Qin Dynasty, Guilin region settled by Baiyue people.[3] In 314 BC, a small settlement was established along the banks of the Li River.[citation needed]
During the Qin Dynasty's (221–207 BC) campaigns against the state of Nanyue, the first administration was set up in the area around Guilin.[4] The modern city was located within the Guilin Commandery (Chinese: 桂林郡), which is origin of the modern name Guilin.
In 111 BC, during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Shi'an County (simplified Chinese: 始安县; traditional Chinese: 始安縣) was established, which could be regarded as the beginning of the city.

Last weekend we went down to Wyoming to find a bunch of things to do in Jackson Hole. There are lots of things to do in Wyoming and lots of Wyoming attractions but the little town of Jackson is a highlight.
There are a lot of options for lodging in Jackson. Out of all the hotels and motels, we stayed at the Wort Hotel in downtown Jackson, home to the Silver Dollar bar and the Cowboy Bar.

Jackson is a town in the Jackson Hole valley of Teton County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 9,577 at the 2010 census, up from 8,647 in 2000. It is the county seat of Teton County and is its largest town.
Jackson is the principal town of the Jackson, WY-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Teton County in Wyoming and Teton County in Idaho.
The town derives its name from Jackson Hole, the valley in which it is located.
