Diving In Alor: Perfect Visibility & Amazing Coral Reefs
In this week's episode it's just me (Nick) as the Goats were invited on the epic Trip Of Wonders scuba diving trip of 2017 by the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia and Wonderful Indonesia!
Because Dariece isn't a diver, she stayed back in Bali while I started the amazing 13 day diving trip to 3 of the top scuba locations in the world, Alor, Komodo and Raja Ampat in Indonesia.
The trip starts here in Alor and I have to say that it started off with a bang! The visibility and diversity of coral and fish life in Alor was astonishing, as you can see by the clips.

This is my personal travel VLOG in Alor, i really love the place is really EPIC! ;) and i wish by making this video i am able to give a positive impact in promoting this island to the world and for it's development, a place you have to visit and explore! :)

My travel advise:
- Flight from JKT - KUPANG (2 hours 30 mins) (no direct flight to Alor from JKT)
- Flight from Kupang - Alor ( 30 minutes)

- I had amazing stay at Mokko Alor resort by the Sabanjar beach ( 15 minutes from the airport )

Trống đồng Lô Lô
The drum is a brass instrument very unique type of Southeast Asia, emerged from the Bronze Age.
The drum is not only functional, but also the instrument functions as a symbol for power, religion ... Drums are used in religious ceremonies, in festivals, and during the war when the tribal leaders urged people from all over come together to fight. Drums are often from people's leader and symbol of power. The leader has the greater power to free more and beautiful. The drum is also regarded as a precious asset, and be buried by the people all over the world.
Today, in addition to hundreds of bronze drums are stored and displayed in the museum formal national and local authorities, it seems that drums were absent in daily life occasions including festivals, holidays , we only have the space in the museum and fairy tales. However, the land west of Thanh Son, Phu Tho province is the only place in Vietnam still on the drum of the Muong with mile and tender [1]. This is one of the holy land of Vietnam discovered many drums in most ground. It was for that reason that Vietnam has recently restored a drum practice the death anniversary of the Hung Kings The lunar March 10 every year.
The drum is also popular percussion instruments in the Khmu ethnic, Lolo and Muong in Vietnam today. In these communities people use it for the purpose of funerals, in addition to not use for any other case.
Trống đồng là một loại nhạc cụ gõ bằng đồng rất độc đáo của vùng Đông Nam Á, xuất hiện từ thời đại đồ đồng.
Trống đồng không chỉ có chức năng nhạc khí mà còn có những chức năng khác như làm biểu tượng cho quyền lực, tôn giáo... Trống được dùng trong các nghi lễ tôn giáo, trong lễ hội, và trong chiến tranh khi người thủ lĩnh bộ lạc kêu gọi mọi người từ khắp nơi tụ về để cùng chiến đấu. Trống thường thuộc về những người thủ lĩnh và là biểu tượng của quyền lực. Người thủ lĩnh có quyền lực càng lớn thì trống càng to và đẹp. Trống đồng cũng được coi là một tài sản quí, và được chôn theo khi người chủ qua đời.
Ngày nay, ngoài hàng trăm chiếc trống đồng được lưu giữ và trưng bày trang trọng ở các bảo tàng quốc gia và các địa phương, thì dường như trống đồng đã vắng mặt trong cuộc sống đời thường kể cả những dịp hội hè, lễ tết, người ta chỉ còn gặp trống đồng ở các viện bảo tàng và các truyện cổ tích. Tuy nhiên, vùng đất Thanh Sơn miền tây của tỉnh Phú Thọ là nơi duy nhất tại Việt Nam vẫn còn ngày hội Trống đồng của dân tộc Mường với Đâm Đuống và Chàm thau[1]. Đây cũng là một trong số những vùng địa linh của Việt Nam phát hiện được nhiều trống đồng trong lòng đất nhất. Chính vì lý do đó mà gần đây Việt Nam đã khôi phục một tập tục đánh trống đồng ngày giỗ Tổ các vua Hùng 10 tháng 3 Âm lịch hàng năm.
Trống đồng cũng là nhạc cụ gõ phổ biến trong các dân tộc Khơ Mú, Lôlô và Mường ở Việt Nam hiện nay. Trong những cộng đồng này người ta sử dụng nó với mục đích tang lễ, ngoài ra không dùng cho bất kỳ trường hợp nào khác.
