Kargapolsky District is an administrative and municipal district , one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,220 square kilometers . Its administrative center is the urban locality of Kargapolye. Population: 31,832 ; 34,854 ; 38,518 . The population of Kargapolye accounts for 26.5% of the district's total population.
