Best Way to Travel in the Czech Republic - Train info
One of the cheapest and best ways to travel around the Czech Republic is by train. The Czech Republic has an extensive network of trains and the best part is you can get a Kilometer Bank(Kilometrická Banka ČD) for around 90 Euros and is good for up to 2000 kilometers and can be shared among three people.

Tschechische Republik - Belvedér
Der Belvedér ist die älteste Aussichtsplattform in der Böhmischen Schweiz. Er liegt rund 130 m über der Elbe und bietet einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Tal. Es ist ein wahrhaft fürstlicher Ort, denn die Auassichtsplattform hat schon vor rund 300 Jahren Fürst Franz-Karl Clary-Aldringen anlegen lassen. die kleine Grotte ist künstlich angelegt worden und diente anfangs als Ort für künstlerische Aufführungen. Später, Ende des 18./Anfang des 19. Jahrunderts verlor der Adel das Interesse am Belvedér und er wurde für Touristen und Wanderer zugänglich. 1889 eröffnete eine große Gastwirtschaft, die später als Betriebsferienheim genutzt wurde. Heute wird im Gebäude ein Hotel geführt.

The Belvedér is the oldest observation deck in the Bohemian Switzerland. It is located about 130 meters above the river Elbe, and offers a wonderful view over the valley. It is a truly royal place because the viewing platform has made some 300 years ago, Prince Franz-Karl Clary Aldringen. The small cave was artificially created and originally used as a venue for artistic performances. Later, at the end of the 18th, beginning of the 19th CENTURY aristocracy lost interest in the Belvedér and he was open to tourists and hikers. 1889, a large restaurant, which was later used as a holiday home . Today, building is a hotel .
