Hiking in Barguzin Valley with BaikalNature

Фрагмент фильма 2 недели в Сицилии, рассказывающий о пляже из породы баунти и фестивале Кускус в городке San Vito Lo Capo.

Сан Вито Ло Капо (итал. San Vito Lo Capo) - знаменитый пляжный курорт на северо-западе Сицилии, где Вы можете почувствовать себя героем знаменитой рекламы батончика «Баунти».
Город (всего 4000 жителей) относится к провинции Трапани, и расположен у грозной горы Монте Монако.
Море здесь необычайно прозрачно, песок достаточно крупный и имеет беловатый оттенок. А в осенний период море выбрасывает обломки коралловых веточек, которые смешиваются с песком и придают ему красноватый оттенок, и, огромное количество разнообразных ракушек, которых в летнее время днём с огнём не сыщешь.
Пляж пологий, спуск в воду постепенный.
Всё необходимое имеется – зонтики, шезлонги; предусмотрены даже специальные зоны для людей с ограниченными возможностями.
Город был построен в XIII веке как форпост Эриче.
Настоящее село начало формироваться в XVIII веке, вокруг древнего святилища великого мученика Sav Vito, покровителя города. Первоначально это была крепость сарацин, которые изменили уклад города и присвоили ему имя святого. Тем не менее, город сохранял внешний вид крепости, чтобы защитить паломников, которые просили гостеприимства у него.
Арабские корни отразились на архитектуре города, которая выражается в простых постройках домов с синими ставнями, украшениями из керамики. На въезде в городок установлена маленькая часовня Santa Crescenza, в арабском элегантном стиле, которая была предназначена для защиты святилища и людей от набегов пиратов.
В остальном, ничем примечательным в плане архитектурных сооружений город не выделяется.
Достоин внимания и местный маяк (il faro), добраться до которого можно пешком или на велосипеде, следуя в направлении порта.
Зато природа дарит массу великолепных мест, достойных для посещения. Отсюда можно совершить прогулку до заповедников Zingaro (в летний период из порта отправляются экскурсионные лодки), Monte Cofano (Монте Кофано) и Scopello (Скопелло), Cala Mancina (Кала Манчина), в лагуне которой можно полюбоваться рыбками безо всякого оборудования, посетить гроты (Grotta dei cavalli), а также подняться на гору Monte Monaco (Монте Монако) и оставить свой привет на вершине горы.
Надо отметить, что с San Vito Lo Capo больше едут за пляжно-развлекательным отдыхом.
Главная артерия города – улица via Savoia. В летний сезон ночная жизнь тут кипит, и, если вы планируете тихий спокойный отдых, лучше селиться подальше от центра. Музыка громыхает так, что слышно и на соседних улицах. Отелей, вилл, в городке полно.
Сан Вито Ло Капо очень популярный курорт не только среди самих итальянцев, но и немцев, англичан, французов, очень много русских и выходцев со стран СНГ. Город живет вечным летним праздником. Пробуждаясь от зимней спячки в апреле, и до самого октября, жизнь здесь кипит. Самый пик наступает в августе, когда на пляже, несмотря на его протяжённость (3 км) яблоку негде упасть.
В сентябре проходит фестиваль кус-куса, а в октябре праздник, что-то типа прощания с летом, где устраивают огромный костёр. После этого туристов становится всё меньше и меньше, и город буквально «умирает» …

Coffee plantation in Karnataka, India
Coffee production in India is dominated in the hill tracts of South Indian states, with the state of Karnataka accounting 53% followed by Kerala 28% and Tamil Nadu 11% of production of 8,200 tonnes. Indian coffee is said to be the finest coffee grown in the shade rather than direct sunlight anywhere in the world. There are approximately 250,000 coffee growers in India; 98% of them are small growers. As of 2009, the production of coffee in India was only 4.5% of the total production in the world. Almost 80% of the country's coffee production is exported. Of that which is exported, 70% is bound for Germany, Russian federation, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia, United States, Japan, Greece, Netherlands and France, and Italy accounts for 29% of the exports. Most of the export is shipped through the Suez Canal.
Coffee is grown in three regions of India with Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu forming the traditional coffee growing region of South India, followed by the new areas developed in the non-traditional areas of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa in the eastern coast of the country and with a third region comprising the states of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh of Northeastern India, popularly known as Seven Sister States of India.
Indian coffee, grown mostly in southern India under monsoon rainfall conditions, is also termed as Indian monsooned coffee. Its flavour is defined as: The best Indian coffee reaches the flavour characteristics of Pacific coffees, but at its worst it is simply bland and uninspiring. The two well known varieties of coffee grown are the Arabica and Robusta. The first variety that was introduced in the Baba Budan Giri hill ranges of Karnataka in the 17th century was marketed over the years under the brand names of Kent and S.795.
