Tradisi Ma' Nene' Ma' Nene' merupakan salah satu tradisi yang sangat unik yang dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Toraja. Tradisi ini merupakan bentuk penghormatan orang Toraja kepada leluhur atau keluarga yang telah meninggal. Tradisi ini biasanya diadakan pada bulan Agustus. Jadi jika ingin melihat secara langsung, silahkan berkunjung ke Toraja pada bulan tersebut. Sebagai catatan, ada baiknya mencari info kapan dan dimana persisnya kegiatan ini akan dilakukan. Hal ini karena ada yang melaksanakannya setiap 3 tahun sekali. Ini semua tergantung dari kesepakatan pihak keluarga. Tradisi ini dimulai dengan mengeluarkan peti jenazah dari dalam patani. Selanjutnya peti-peti jenazah akan dibuka kemudian jenazah akan dibersihkan. Setelah dibersihkan jenazah kemudian dijemur lalu diganti pakaiannya. Setelah semua selesai, jenazah? akan di masukkan kembali ke dalam peti dan selanjutnya dikembalikan kedalam Patani. Melalui tradisi ini para keluarga akan tetap merasakan ikatan yang kuat dengan keluarga mereka yang telah meninggal. Ini juga sebagai sarana untuk melepas kerinduan dari pihak keluarga. Kita semua berharap agar tradisi yang unik ini tetap dilestarikan karena mungkin hanya di Toraja tradisi seperti ini dapat ditemukan.
