Summer in Austria: the best of Lech.
Hello Lovelies!
Here it is a video about my recent trip to Lech Zürs am Arlberg in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg with the Gotthard Hotel Lech! It was my first time ever there and absolutely loved it: incredible sceneries, beautiful mountains and plenty of summer activities to enjoy! I personally focused on hiking, guided by my mountain guide Björn from the Gotthatrd Hotel and golfing at the Golf Club Lech and it was lush! The sun was shining and I even managed to see the first snow, what else? :)

Bliss - Lech, Austria
Home to some of the world’s best ski slopes, fine cuisines and described as one of the most luxurious Ski Chalets, you cannot miss what Aurelio hotel has to offer. Perfectly situated on the junction of two valleys, Lech is a great piste paradise and best known Après-ski places in Austria.
Lech, Austria: A Winter Guide (Where To Stay, Eat & Ski)
We head to Lech, Austria to explore some of the Best of The Alps. Lech is known for charming chalet style architecture, hearty Austrian cuisine and sun drenched ski slopes with terrain for all abilities. The ski area has 97 cable cars and lifts- and another major bonus is they never feel crowded because ticket sales are limited each day. Skiiers don’t’ want to miss the White Ring – a circle of runs and lifts that link Lech with nearby ski areas Zurs, Zug and Oberlech.
For a break from skiing, check out one of the many cozy ski huts, like Skihütte Hochalp where you can choose to sit outside a sun terrace with views of the Alps or inside for a more rustic atmosphere.
Other spots, like the The Berggrill-Terrasse at the Goldenerberg hotel serve Austrian specialties in Oberlach just above Lech. And there is a spa too inside that is so incredible it may derail your ski plans for the rest of the afternoon. At least from this pool you can still catch views of the slopes and towering mountains. For dinner, head to Restaurant Hus 8. The restaurant is set up inside a restored farm house built in 1760. On the menu, find dishes like fondue and raclette.
Most of the hotels in Lech are family run and have been for generations. One of our favorites is Hotel Kristberg, which is owned by Egon Zimmeran, a former ski Olympian and World Champion. The cozy four star hotel is filled with alpine charm. Head to the immaculate new spa to relax, which features both saltwater and regular steam baths, a hot-whirl-pool as well as an Asian style relaxation room.
