Agistri | A silent spot just outside Athens

This is the island of Agistri in The Saronic gulf just outside Athens. 35 mins. with flying dolphin or 1,5 hrs. by ferry. The island is amazing for holidays if you want a quiet athmosphere. I recommend Vasalaris hotel with nice rooms, excellent service and a nice pool area!

Griechenland: Von den Gipfeln bis ans Meer

Griechenland liegt ganz im Süden Europas. Es ist die Wiege der westlichen Kultur und nach wie vor eines der beliebtesten Reiseziele von Touristen aus aller Welt. Im Nordwesten Griechenlands liegt die Region Epirus, sie wurde nach dem Gebirge an der albanischen Grenze benannt. Die Reise führt in pittoreske Bergdörfer. Dort besucht das Kamerateam einen Dachdecker, der mit dem für die Region typischen Naturstein eine Kirche deckt, ferner eine alte Frau, die für ihre Blätterteigpastete frische Kräuter in der Wildnis sammelt. Das Filmteam erkundet das in einer Felswand errichtete Kloster von Kipina, erforscht einen unterirdischen Fluss und trifft auf einen Krabbenfischer im Ambrakischen Golf, einem Paradies für Anhänger des Kite-Surfens und anderer Wassersportarten.

Die fünfteilige Dokumentationsreihe widmet sich der Schönheit der Landschaft und besucht Einheimische, die dem Zuschauer die Eigenheiten ihrer Heimat vorstellen.
