Leutschach an der Weinstraße is since January 2015 a new municipality with 3,794 residents in the Leibnitz District of Styria, Austria. 1. Red Bull Ring Spielberg
The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria.The race circuit was founded as Österreichring and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from 1970 to 1987. It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring , and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from 1997 to 2003. When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Parts of the circuit, including the pits and main grandstand, were demolished, but construction work was stopped and the circuit remained unusable for several years before it was purchased by Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz and rebuilt. Renamed the Red Bull Ring the track was reopened on 15 May 2011 and subsequently hosted a round of the 2011 DTM season and a round of the 2011 F2 championship. ...

Comprising around 2,200 hectares of vineyards, the South Styrian Wine Land is the region’s largest and probably best-known winegrowing area. Some 950 vintners lovingly attend to the vines, usually by hand. After all, mechanical harvesting is frequently impossible due to the steepness of the slopes (up to 26% gradient).
The main towns in the wine country are Gamlitz, Leutschach and Kitzeck – the highest vineyard community in Austria. Poplars and chestnut trees exude a southern flair.

Ice Water & Ice Bucket Challenge Zell am See-Kaprun 2014

Danke an die Schmitten für die Einladung zur Cold Water Challenge (hier springen Gruppen in kaltes Wasser). Wir nominieren: IRONMAN Austria, TVB Saalbach & SalzburgerLand Tourismus. Der Zeller See war übrigens gar nicht so kalt ;)
Geschäftsführerin Renate Ecker beteiligt sich in diesem Zuge an der Ice Bucket Challenge, wobei wir auch für ALS-Betroffene spenden. Danke auch an die Freges für die Unterstützung im Strandbad Zell.

Thanks to the Schmitten for the nomination of the Cold Water Challenge. (An Austrian thing on facebook where groups jump into cold water). We are nominating IRONMAN Austria, TVB Saalbach & SalzburgerLand Tourism. Lake Zell wasn't that cold by the way: CEO Renate Ecker took the opportunity to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge. Of course we will donate to ALS research too!
