Lucban, officially the Municipality of Lucban, , is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 51,475 people.Lucban is dubbed as the Art Capital of Quezon province. The Spanish word labrador means someone who works the land, not a worker in general, which in Spanish would be obrero or trabajador. His real name was Isidro de Merlo y Quintana.

The falls can also be reached from the top by a short hike from Cavinti. The boat ride has been an attraction since the Spanish Colonial Era with the oldest written account in 1894. The town of Pagsanjan lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Balanac River and the Bumbungan River .
