Maitum's newest tourist destination is now open for public.
Here are the rates:
Php 50 - Entrance fee
Php 20 - Environmental fee
Php 1500 - Tour Guide (10 to 25 pax)
Php 50 - Habal-habal per person from the receiving station to the site
Php 200 - From Barangay Poblacion to Barangay Tuanadatu and vice versa
Registration is located at the Barangay Multi-Purpose hall. You may visit M'langen Falls, and also visit the other sites like the Kamlayam Falls and the Yama Cave.

Wet and Wild Sarangani - White Water Tubing
This video features one of the best outdoor activities and tourist attractions of Sarangani, White Water Tubing in New La Union, Maitum. It is run by our very own T'boli and Ilokano locals.
Get wild and do this because YOLO. Get wet shooting down the rapids of the 1.5 km Pangi River on board improvised rubber tubes through boulders and a series of sudden drops for an exhilarating experience amidst a lush of greenery!

01:45 - we ate our lunch here. This place is really strict in garbage. we we disposed our garbage properly. It is the effort of the local authorities to preserve its beauty. 5 thumbs up!
02:02 - we are preparing for snorkeling. we ride the bamboo floater to designate us to the snorkeling area and by pulling the rope, the floater will move. In this case, teamwork is a must!

The name is an acronym that stands for the region's four (4) provinces, five (5) the provinces are Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat and the cities are Cotabato, General Santos, Kidapawan, Koronadal, and Tacurong. Koronadal City is the administrative center of Region XII and is located in South Cotabato. The regional center is Koronadal City located in the province of South Cotabato. Cotabato City itself is part of SOCCSKSARGEN, but Maguindanao is part of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. SOX is the region’s nickname that is intended for marketing promotions and easy recall. The region is branded as the 12th paradise of the Philippines.
SOCCSKSARGEN or SOX is a region of colorful and vibrant festivals. Every town here has their own celebrations. This 2017, its time for you to discover and experience the best of SOX - nature, adventure and culture through our various festivities.
The oldest civilization in the region is located in Maitum, Sarangani, where the Maitum Anthropomorphic Pottery were found. The jars have been declared as National Cultural Treasures, and are subject to the high protections ensured by Philippine and international laws.
The region used to be named Central Mindanao.
